Lighting Qustions

i just got a bull bar for my truck for free and was wondering for driving lights what would you guys use 55 watt lights or 100 watt lights ? and who makes decent ones cheap? thanks for the help

I have 100w on the aftermarket in-bumper fog lights on my truck, and they're nice, but I can't imagine the agony everyone else is experiencing. Regular lights are 55w, and your highbeams are 65w, you do the math, lol.

 

Also according to ohm's law (amperage = wattage/voltage) at 100w and 12volts you'll be pulling 8 1/3 amps each bulb. So make sure if you do go that route, you use some pretty heavy wire and the correct size fuse.
