Buckshot Out

Just heard on Totally NASCAR that Buckshot Jones is out of the Petty car immediately.

 

Steve Grissom will drive the 44 car at Talladega this week.

Petty Enterprises is definitely in rough shape. I hope Steve Grissom can help.

But to be honest, I don't think he'll make much difference. I wonder if PE just hasn't been able to keep up with the times? What I mean is, I wonder if they are still running things the way Richard did with a "if it's good enough for the King, It's good enough for us" attitude.

I hope this helps emm out but lately they've been getting better.

Supposedly they were gonna get Joe Nemechek, but he is still under contract w/ Haas-Carter and they are expecting to get him a sponsor soon so he's sticking around there.

 

Grissom has been working for PE already doing some testing, so it was easy to just put him in there, but it's just for this week, they may keep him in there or they may get someone else.
