03 Yukon With Hanging Hose

I have a 2003 Yukon XL that I bought about a month ago. It had a transfer case problem and the dealer I bought it from replaced the transfer case. Everything is working great and it runs good but yesterday I noticed a 1/2 outside diameter hose hanging striaght down from the transfer case. I jacked it up today and cant tell where it was ever hooked up. I can trace it back up above the RH side of the transmission and I can just feel it connect to a Tee behind the intake above the center of the transmission. I started the engine and it does not appear to be a vacuum line. Is it just some kind of drain or vent that didn't get routed correctly or should it be hooked up to the top side of the transfer case somewhere?

Any info would be appreaciated,

Front diff vent hose???

Front diff vent hose???

I don't think so but I will check that. The hose is connected on one end up above the transmission directly behind the intake. I can just reach it from underneath and it feels like its connected to a Tee. Anybody else have an idea before I take it to the dealer? I would like to think they could tell me pretty quick and probably charge me for it.

I have the same hose hanging down on the right side (passenger side) of the transmission. Can't tell where it should hook up. Any ideas???????

Vent line- I got it - but where is it supposed to be mounted ? surely it doesn't just hang down beside the transmission. Does it rest in some sort of clip on the frame or ???? And what about the piece that I found on the end hanging down that appeared to be some sort of gasket material or very thin plastic material ? That indicated to me that the hose actually hooked up to something.

T case has a small pipe on the top dvrs side pointing forward, it travels up on the spine of the transmission case , it picks up the trans vent and continues up to the top bell housing bolt where it terminates with a vent cap
