Weird Dash And Radio Issue

ok my blazer 94 s10 4.3 vortec went into shop yesterday to fix breaks te tow truck guy barely strapped truck down on flat bed it was bounceing and slaming arond alot. then i got it back and now my radio wont turn on no fuses are blown for radio .

 

also the fuse for the speedo volt gauge and the trip meter popped a few times . got truck home parked it then it refused to start acted like a drained battery so i got under it wiggled starter wire cable, then i disconnected the battery for a few mins.

 

and walla she started right up but radio still dosent work do you guys have any idea whats up with the radio. all other fuctions work like lights and all thru all this the lights and stuff all still worked

Maybe the connector in the back came off.

pulled it its not unplugged but its going into the shop again tomorrow my other halfs cousin works for a garage

Alot of radios will not work if the antenna cable is unplugged or loose for some odd reason, check that.

That will happen if the ground the radio normally uses isn't making a solid connection. The radio will try to "ground out" through the antenna, and if it's disconnected too, it won't be able to get a solid ground at all.

Well now youve given me something to think about....lol...apparently the ground wire I used isnt making a very good ground....
