Anybody Have A Wheel Well Storage Box?

I'm just curious on whether anybody has one of these and how well you find they work and how useful they are.

 

One consideration I have though is that it can't be the same height as the box because then it would interfere with the clip on my tonneau cover, which is used to fasten it down.

 

I was looking at one of the SwingCase's by Undercover and wondering if anyone has had experience with these. My only concern with them is that they look like they might be a bit small however they would work well with the tonneau cover.

 

I'm not looking to haul a full collection of tools with this or anything. Just some odds and ends that I currently have stored in some plastic totes in the box which I have fastened by running a bungee cord across. They work well however I just thought these would be cool because then I wouldn't have to move them everytime I wanted to haul anything else in the box.

I do not have one but was talking to my parts guy about them. he had one in a demo truck and for the size not nearly worth the price. He was telling me to wait becase truxedo is coming out with a full size that will mount with any soft bed cover.

Ya they are a bit pricey for what you are getting I will admit. My tonneau cover is a tri-fold which a vinyl covering over the plastic. So hopefully this other one would not interfere with that one either.

 

I wouldn't mind one of the stationary ones, however it might be a bit annoying if you had to flip the tonneau back each time you want to get access to the storage box.

If you want to store smaller things, check out the Agricover Storage pocket G2 or the HD models, I don't have them, but they look like they'd work pretty slick
