If anyone has removed their black tailight trim from their 3500's and they are in good shape and your interested in getting rid of them, send me an e-mail so we can discuss it.    [email protected]

The part numbers are R 16530498 or the right side and L 16530498 for the left side.  I wa told by two dealers and gmpartsdirect.com that you can't order just the trim.  I would have to order the whole tailight assemblies, which were ?.00  each at gmpartsdirect.com and a little over ?.00 each at the dealers.  Quite a bit more than i want to pay for just the trim.  I like the looks of them better than most of the aftermarket tailight covers and guards.  I've seen some 3500's without them, but most that I've seen do have them.  I'm not sure it it's part of a certain option package or somthing like that.

If your not sure what I'm talking about, I've included a few pictures (the last 3 scanned from the 2001 sales brochure).
