i would of already done it if everything auto/tag related in Florida wouldn't of doubled last year

Yep, Georgia did the same thing. Now they charge you every year to have a special tag. They used to just charge you once, when you got it. I don't care enough to have a special tag on my truck that has a bird on it to pay that each year. They act like it looks so much better on your vehicle than a regular tag the way they charge for it.

Around here, the specialty tag's (not the vanity plates) fees are donated to the charity for which they're made.

 

Not sure what they do with the money for the NASCAR plates though...
