Gm Hard Folding Bed Cover

So I have a GM hard folding bed cover on my truck. Any of you have any issues with them? The back section has two big cracks already. not some thing that should happen on an $800 piece. The shitty thing is I always leave it down...it has maybe been folded up 4 or 5 times in 6 months.
