Im looking to swap out my steering wheel switch pack that controls radio volume, station selection, and mute, this is on the passenger side of the wheel.

2007 GMT900

I want to install the newer switch pack that also controls Bluetooth Onstar commandsand has the little phone labels.

Part # 25851951

Can anyone provide removal and installation instructions or is this best done at the dealership?

I already told you how to do it in your previous post. You need to pull the airbag. The switch is attached to the steering wheel bezel. I just traded out my black bezels for brushed so I know what I am talking about. Do a search on airbag removal. Once you pull it, you will see how easy it is.

So what else do you need to make the bluetooth work?

I doubt by just switching out the module you will have bluetooth.

It would be nice if it was that easy.

Thanks....I saw your previous instructions "remove the airbag" I just needed a little more as the airbag can kill you if it is accidentally deployed.

I will google airbag removal and try it.

Check the previous posts on this.....

You need 3 things, Onstar Bluetooth module (VCIM), Bluetooth antenna which plugs into OnStar module, and switch pack on steering wheel. You don't have to do steering wheel buttons but its the final piece to make it 100% OEM

Thanks, did it tonight and worked great, had new Bluetooth VCIM and steering wheel pack installed in 30 minutes. All thanks to great instructions on this site......

Just waiting for OnStar to relearn VCIM

Has anyone had any issues with voice recognition saying it cannot understand commands when you say "Bluetooth"?

I recently installed Parrot 9100 bluetooth kit and it looked great and was fairly easy to install. It looked factory and works great.
