its a V6 (think it s the same engine as the Cady CTS.). 29.5 MPGS going from NJ to NY over 225 miles at 70-80MPG with the AC.

thanks for the new SIG. Old habits are hard to break, I ve been checking in and I have a few items on here for sale still.

The new car lays about 10-15 ft of rubber on both wheels if you take the traction control off and floor it. The 6 speed trans is the best thing about the car so far.Works alot better than I had heard of after hearing about the Denali.

Nice Malibu. Car and drivers North American Car of the year. Same Engine as the CTS (different tune) but different platform. Should be a sweet ride.

WOW. Talk about a major step up in class. Chevy sure moved up with that new Malibu. Hopefully the rest of GMs lineup will follow suit. If we can get the cars all up to the standards the trucks set, we'll start to win back some of the market from other producers. I might even consider coming back from the other side of the pond to buy my next car if they do.

Nice ride Mark.

I hear the new Malibu's are the CTS's twin brother.

Actually its on the same platform as the Saturn Aura

Looks really good man. My friend bought a new '08 Malibu about a month ago. I was quite impressed. Everything from the tight body lines, interior fit/finish, to just how well it went down the road. The 30MPG on the highway with the 4-banger was also nice. And the primary reason he bought it.

So congrats on the new ride and have fun!
