  1. Its bright enough, very floody but isn't nearly as bright as the 2x 12" double rows on the roof. I was originally planning on getting the lund led bar but decided to get the rough country as it claims to be a lot brighter and was less cost. The lund claims 54w @ 3k lumens the RC is 90w @ 7k lumens. First thing I did when I got it was measure the power as mfr like to inflate their claims but it did actually pull 92W. I did not use the relay harness the bar shipped with and opted to make my own. When it gets dark ill go get some comparison video of the lights.

  4. Guess it also depends on your initial offset. It’s just hard to tell from about any angle on my wheels. I actually asked the shop to order bora spacers when they put it on. They said I should wait until I see it. I saw it and didn’t think it was enough. Plus didn’t want to cut my studs down. I get where you are coming from though.

  5. I’d just do it in one fowl swoop. Lift, wheels/tires, and spacers in the rear. Like I said, I’m just anal about how the truck looks and making sure that my wheels/tires are evenly spaced.

  6. They are, but there are 10 other things I want to do before that’s even on my list. Just doesn’t bother me enough to make it a priority. My new lights just came in today, my wife wants me to install amp steps soon. Then a bed cover, so on and so on. Your truck’s stance is good looking though.

  7. Finally found some time! My Plug and Play Harness is complete. When I tested before putting the console in, everything worked. After wrapping everything and installing the console, the 3.5” Aux port is the only thing not working. I made a last minute modification and this may be the reason the aux port is not working. So tomorrow, I’ll take it out again and recheck. But I am ALMOST there! Stay tuned! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Yes. I have not figured out how or if I can disable the front sensors but leave the rear ones active.

  12. Did you check the switch in the overhead console that controls the lights. There are 3 settings: Off, Door and ON. Sounds like it's in the ON position.

  15. Awesome! I don’t have one negative thing to say at this point about it. Love the ride, love the look. I was concerned about going to a MT tire, but the Toyo is so quiet and runs so smooth. If you do have any further questions let me know, and I’ll do my best to help out.

  16. 2) If you've already made the deal on the DQS mirrors, they should provide them and not charge you any more. I still think you're way better off having them physically install the DQS mirrors that they promised and give you the harnesses. It's really easy to remove the door panels and swap the harnesses. Watch Phil's video a few times and follow it and you won't have any problems and I promise you won't break anything. Pick up a set of trim tools from a local auto parts store.

  20. Skeet, I think your on the right track. I know I probably sound like a broken record by now, but I'll repeat what I've been saying all along. The headlight housings require a proper venting system. I've been considering doing exactly what you have done. Drilling a hole into the dust cover and covering it with a breathable fabric. Here is some info from a company that provides venting systems to the automotive industry... http://www.gore.com/MungoBlobs/314/542/02_GORE_Automotive_Vents_Brochure_Exterior_Lighting.pdf Unparalleled Protection of the Housing Interior GORE® Automotive Vents deliver unparalleled protection from the climate, road and vehicle conditions that can negatively impact lighting performance, aesthetics and customer satisfaction. The breathable GORE™ membrane, with pores about 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, effectively blocks ingress of dust, dirt, road debris, water splashes, automotive fluids and other external contaminants from entering the housing and fouling lenses or sensitive electronics. These same pores allow rapid, bidirectional air and gas exchange, to continuously equalize external and internal housing pressures. More Reliable Release of Moisture Reliable pressure equalization is critical, because rapid changes in pressure can compromise lighting performance and lifespan. Without proper venting, moisture can enter and remain in the housing through: • Permeation: when moisture vapor permeates the plastics often used for lenses or housings. • Absorption/desorption: when plastic lamp components attract and release moisture within the housing. • Condensation: can form when moisture increases due to factors such as repeated temperature differentials within, or adjacent to, the housing. GORE® Automotive Vents reliably release moisture that can enter through all these paths, to help avert premature lamp failure and warranty claims.

  22. Saw this on TECHLINK. I have the bluetooth issue and my service manager is going to update mine later this week... Blank Touch Screen after Start-up and in Reverse January 23, 2014 The infotainment touch screen may be blank after start-up and in Reverse, a rearview camera message may be displayed, and there may be Bluetooth® and navigation system conditions on the following models equipped with radio-infotainment system RPOs IO4, IO5, IO6 or RAO (except with RPO UPF): • 2014 Silverado 1500 built prior to October 1, 2013 • 2014 Sierra 1500 built prior to October 1, 2013 Some possible Bluetooth conditions include the screen not returning to the Home screen after ending a call, cannot call contact work/mobile number for more than one contact with the same name, and issues concerning speech recognition. Some navigation conditions include no results found after performing an address search with an incomplete address, the selection of a Point of Interest address delivers a wrong destination position, and the map freezing when panning in the 10k zoom scale. An updated software calibration has been released to address these conditions.
