  2. I'm not sure if you can tell without actually removing the tire. Maybe take it to a dealer and have them check it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

  3. I’m pretty sure that in the US, all vehicles manufactured after a certain date must have a tpms system. I’m not sure of the exact year, but I think it was around 2007/08.

  7. Save up, do the long travel kit first. The right way to do it is either all at once or aesthetics last.

  8. Yup The BDS lift doesn't allow for stockers so ....... you go with anything else and it's a given for the trim.

  11. GMs bailout had nothing to do with the quality of their trucks. You can thank the governments hypocritical stance on "global warming" And forcing large industries to shell out billions of dollars conforming to their ever changing "green" policies while forcing them to spend even more on R&D to make their future products comply with the ever growing eco friendly set of laws all the while they have made very little change in the technology, consumption and/or conservation in our countries largest contributor of green house gases.... our military and military vehicles and aircraft. The big bank bailout was not a bailout to stop certain companies from closing their doors. These companies would still exist today if they had not received any money. That bailout was set into motion to save only 1 "company" And that company was the US government and our governments stance as the world's economic super power. It would take a book to explain the complexities of that bailout but I just find it irritating that people still assume that large corporations that received money in that bailout were to keep them from closing their doors and that's just not the case.

  12. Cut the fenders open with a muffler cutter, lose the bumper and spoiler, gut the fenderwells and put deep offset wheels on it. Later, when you get about $5 grand, you can buy the front long travel suspension. Another $2 grand and you can get the fenders and bedsides. A couple more grand and you can get the rear long travel suspension. Maybe a grand for a front bumper, another $1-2 grand for some lights, paint, roll bar, and other miscellaneous. Don't forget the $3k worth of wheels and tires. There's a lot cheaper vehicles to go bangin around in the dirt than converting a 5000 lb fullsize crewcab truck into a dirt buggy. As a bonus feature, you can still drive home in your bone stock truck when something breaks on the toy in the middle of the desert and drive the truck to work Monday morning, just a thought. https://www.ebay.com/sch/Dune-Buggies-Sand-Rails/133220/bn_16581800/i.html

  22. Decided to color match the grille shroud just to see how I like it. Plasti dipped it first then used some dupli-color perfect match on top of that. Now I can just peel it off if I feel like it but I like it so I’m goin to have it professionally painted eventually. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  24. Took truck to town today and bought lunch for the family. Got burgers and fries and onion rings for 11 people and only spent $7.75 for all of it!!! Local place opened on Thanksgiving day in 1967 and they had a 50th party with opening day prices. A quarter pound cheese burger was $0.60 French fries were $0.30 and milk shakes were $0.50.

  27. 2015-2017 Silverado cloth heated seats to 2017 leather heated and cooled seats. Forgive me for not take before pictures when I had the jet black cloth seats but I’m sure everyone has an idea. One late night I found a pair of 2017 HC jet black leather seats on offer up for a really good price, I just wanted the leather seats. On the process of purchasing the seats I found out the seats were ventilated, I thought my truck is not equipped for that so that’s probably not going to work, again I was just shooting for the leather seats., I’m the middle of the process I purchase a stereo trim piece because I messed up mine from trying to spray painted and the one I got came with the ventilated and heated buttons. So installed it with those buttons and what do you know.! My passenger side worked!!! Driver didn’t. Eventually with phil gamboa helping me with wiring and schematics, and more wiring.. they’re are finally working. Heating is not working yet but we’re in Texas so I don’t really mind. Here’s some pictures. And phil gamboa himself..[emoji1303][emoji1306] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  29. When State budgets get tight again I think we will see cops writing tickets for those lights. Not DOT approved. Around here there are people getting silly with those lights....matter of when the cops get orders to bust em for State revenue.
