I'm not real happy with 1A Auto right now. Here is a reply I received back from them regarding the wiring issue from the manufacturer. Still I absolutely love the mirrors and will buy a second pair for my other truck.. " "1 point

For rear tail lights, you'll want a 3 ohm. I use 3 ohm - 100 watt resistor for my builds. They've been running strong for over 6 months now.1 point

Don’t know what color off the top of my head, but just do a voltage test when using your blinkers to see which wire is causing the hyper flash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Look between your axle and leaf spring. There’s a black metal block sandwiched between your u bolts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

My first guess is that the shocks are too long for your ride height. When you hit bumps, it bottoms out the travel and shoves it up through the mount. But that is just a guess.1 point

There's a few different ways to tell, but if it shows 8 when in manual selection then you have the 8 speed. Another more definitive way to find out is to check the RPO codes on the sticker on the inside of the upper glove box. MYC = 6 speed and M5U = 8 speed. Easiest way to verify would be to drive at a nice and even acceleration up to highway speed and count how may times it shifts. Also all 6.2's come with the 8 speed. In addition, you can ask your local dealer to provide you a build sheet that will show all options your truck with built with. This would be a nice way to see anything else you thought you had and didn't or didn't know you had. For what it's worth I have a 2017 that bought new last year and have had zero problems with the 8 speed. There's some on this forum who do, and I feel for them based off the stories they have to tell, but don't let that get in your head thinking you have a lemon. Just drive it normal, enjoy the new ride and have any problems fixed or at least documented before your warranty expires. Certainly not worth loosing any sleep over.1 point

I also have stock 20s with 35x12.5r20 Toyo RT and the BDS 6inch fox coilover lift and they fit perfectly. Only the stock 20inch or 22inch will fit the BDS fit. Anything smaller will not clear the knuckle. I have no rub and I even lowered the coilovers to 4.5" of lift and no rub.1 point

JUST A THOUGHT! If you don't want to splice wires, I've seen several videos of people whom have purchase a USB wireless charging pad and plugged it into the USB plug under the center console arm rest. I just don't recommend gluing it as you may have to remove it at some point. This will give you the option to change it out if need be and you don't have to purchase an expensive console door. Amazon has a lot of options for those pads and you can make sure it will work with whatever phone you have. This is with a jump seat below but, it gives you an idea.1 point

I have the midnight edition, so i didn't have to de-chrome, but I did use vinyl wrap to cover the big red 'Z' in the Z71 on all my logos...it wasn't really that tough, just took time...if you go that route, make sure and get QUALITY vinyl...it absolutely makes a difference...the first roll i got was like the vinyl stuff our grandmas used to put in cabinets to put dishes on...it was terrible.1 point
