Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I hated the holagen front end since the day I bought my truck. I looked all over the internet for someone who had done the LED swap but couldn't find anything besides people asking about it or people saying it's been done with no pictures or info to back it up. Used parts for the 2024s are becoming more available now and I finally gambled and bought what I hoped I needed. I found both headlights, the grille and an upper bumper fascia all on ebay from salvage yards and bought the harness from gen5diy.com. that's all you need. Take off the top grille/vent piece under the hood, just some plastic clips. Take a few screws out of the front of the fender liners, about to the center of the wheel well. Pop the wheel well trim off to about the same spot (more plastic clips). There's one tiny screw (7mm) where the bumper fascia meets the fender underneath the wheel well trim. The bumper fascia then pops off, lots of little clips so you have to go slow and work your way across it with a bunch of gentle pulls. The grille then has 4 10mm screws on the top and 2 in the bottom corners. Then more gentle pulls to pop it off. Lastly the headlights have six 10mm screws around them. There's some videos online about removing grilles and what not that helped me some. I ment to take pictures or record the whole process but I got on a roll and kinda forgot. I know I would of really loved this information a few months ago so hopefully I'm helping someone out by sharing.

All he really said was all Group III oils of the same viscosity with the same add package blended to the same specification or license do the same job no matter who's label is on the bottle. Specifically ILSAC GF-6 for SAE 5W30. If that ain't true, tell me and I'll buy an empty AMSOIL OE or Royal Purple bottle and pour some NAPA Gold into it before the next move to the motor. That's a magic bottle right there and worth the extra cash. SOLD!!!

2020-2025 Silverado and Sierra 2500 3500 Oil Catch Can This is what I put on my 2022 HD. I have the black anodized one. I mounted mine in the auxiliary battery tray. Inverted the included attachment bracket so the can sits a little higher, making it easier to reach. Up here in Northern Maine in the winter, I empty it every other week. Summer months, it does not accumulate much. Lee

I bought a set of these when my truck was new 3 yrs ago. So far they've been great! The name plate fell off the drivers side one after about 2 yrs but I just glued it back in place.....not really important. They fit great and clean up easily.

Not since I divorced my ex-wife. I apologize if she found her way to you. Going faster so the engine/exhaust would drown out the sound of her yapping always worked for me, even though it was temporary.

Ram air would only happen at jet aircraft speeds. Something like this would be beneficial under full towing load on a hot day up a hill or something. More beneficial with more mods (supercharger, large cam...etc). Mostly it's just to know that it's not a big fake scoop anymore and that up until the airbox part, it was simple drop in swap stuff.

Probably a load of PIB or PEA in one brand and not the other, the new fuel balance changed that cleaned the deposited injector/s. More than you want to know but that's the factual reason.

My 2020 6.2L AT4 has been a great truck for me. The only two problems I've had since new was oxidation on the battery connections and whining noise. The battery connection looked good w/o corrosion, but needed to be polished due to lead oxidation on the terminals. The whining noise was a bad idler pully as discussed on this board. My truck is very low milage but is the most comfortable I've ever owned. I'm a very proud owner and get complements all the time and will not upgrade any time soon. Actually you don't have to replace the remote. You can just change the shell. Open the old one and swap the internal card and battery (might as well replace the battery for a new one while at it) to the new shell. That way there is no reprogramming required.

Same as a 2021-2024 through the climate page in the radio screen. Once you are in there, upper left side of that page there are some small icons with seats on them. Top one is the front row climate settings, bottom one is the second row climate settings. All the same functions as before, auto, lock it to the front, manually change them, etc.

That's because the Tahoe and Suburban of years you are looking at still run the older E92 computer that has been out since 2014-2015. The 2019+ silverado/sierra switched to the E90 controller.

Until I joined this forum I never thought of oil base stocks or additives. I never considered using the fancy oils like Amsoil etc. I just changed my oil. When they started extended OCI's I ignored it. Marketing B.S. I thought. A lot of owners do the extended OCI's and have had no issues but some have had issues IMO directly related to extended OCI's. While I understand the desire to analyze things such as an oils composition, it never occurred to me because I never had a motor failure. So thanks to the input on this forum I have learned about motor oil. Do I feel there is any advantage to this knowledge, yes. I'm more educated about motor oil and why it can cost $15 a quart. All I know is 3 K mile OCI's has served me well. Oil and filters can be cheap or cost effective if you like. I have used the cheapest dino oil and the cheapest oil filter I could find and never had a motor issue. I have done one UOA in my life and that was recently only to check oil dilution on a turbo motor. All the threads and input or opinions about motor oil is informative but it can be confusing. I like KISS. Keep It Simple Stupid As Grumpy Bear said, you could use mineral oil if you change it often enough. So will I ever use $15 a quart motor oil, probably not. It's not a money issue. Again thank all of you for your input. I think I'll go change my oil.

Only AMSOIL is willing to make the investment necessary to provide the highest quality lubricants to the market. You bought a certain vehicle because you wanted the best, so why search out the cheapest oil, when you can have the best? Disclosure: I been using AMSOIL for better than 30+ yrs. Never been disappointed with their products.....

I had this exact same issue in my 2016 Silverado with 50k miles on it. The same bolt was backed out about 50%. Tightened her up, and no more chirping!

Well yesterday I figured it out. The closed the door and heard the noise outside of the truck for the first time. Played around in the engine bay and the lower battery bracket bolt was 90% backed out. Tightened it up and it's 100% gone. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
