  2. Those are Ridge Grapplers not Trail Grapplers, big difference in road noise over the Trail Grapplers.
  3. I'm interested in hearing any feedback from anyone who has that JL sub under the center console. I was looking at it myself but would like to hear from someone who has done it
  4. I'll refer you to this link, It gives a better description of how it works and the install than I could give you. I ordered the Deaver and CST kit from PerformanceLifts . I went with the CST 4.5" coilovers also rather then using the CST spacer with the OEM struts. I did the Stage 1 kit and added the CST street series rear shocks. http://www.trucktrend.com/how-to/chassis-suspension/1705-lifting-a-2017-silverado-1500-z71-with-cst-and-deaver/
  5. Sorry I just saw this, been on vacation for the last ten days. To answer your question, Yes, I'm very happy with the CST kit. I ran there 4" kit on my 2013 Sierra and it was a great kit. The new kit for the K2's is a bracket kit to work with all three of the different uca's that GM used on these trucks. The install is a little more involved since you need to drop the steering rack 4.5" and install a steering extension with the new kit. I did the install myself with help from a friend, took about 14 hours taking our time. Main thing is follow the instructions closely. I went with the CST coilovers in place of using my stock struts and the 4.5" spacer. I wanted the best ride possible. I also decided to do a Deaver mini-pack in the rear in place of the included 3" block. I just got home from a Florida trip, drove the truck from Michigan to our place there, 2200 mile round trip. I got to say it was a very pleasant ride. I can honestly say the ride is an improvement over the stock ride. It just soaks up the hard jolts over bridge abutments and feels much more planted then the floaty stock ride. I also decided to go with the Nitto Ridge Grappler in 305/55/20 C range tire, 52 Lbs. over the 10 ply same size version at 64 Lbs. to get a better ride. You should expect to pay $800.00 - $1000.00 for a shop to install it. Any other questions I'll be glad to answer.

  7. Looks great! I love that wheel. Are you running spacers in the rear? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah, they wanted $1800.00 for the steps and over $2100.00 installed. I just crossed them of the my list of anyplace to do business with. Can't imagine they sell many . I ended up ordering them on Amazon for $1245.00.
  9. I installed my Amp steps about two weeks ago. Took about 3 hours, 1 1/2 hours was routing the harness's and hooking up the LED's. Local dealer wanted $300.00 to install them if bought from them, and they were $ 400.00 more then I paid.
  10. CST 4 1/2", 42.5" front and 42.25" rear with CST Coilovers in front, factory block in rear with Deaver J1mini- pack in place of bottom overload leaf.
  11. Some Amp steps would be sweet on this.
  12. CST 4 1/2" Bracket lift, 20x9 Hostile Rages, 285/60/20 Toyo RT's. Will be going 20x10 when this Winter is done. Also adding a Deaver Mini-pack to the rear to replace the CST 3" block.
  13. I did it on a lift and still needed to drop the spare to have room to come out the back on my 2018 crew cab 6.2.
  14. Yes, If you drop the spare tire. Mine came out in one piece.
  15. You may not need the spacer with the 33x12.50 due to it being about an inch less diameter tire.
  16. You should be good with that set up. I was running the same Fox 2.0's and the Hostile Rages in 20x9 0 offset with Toyo RT's in 285/60/20 and rubbed the rear inner fender pretty good. These were a 33 1/2" tire. I ended up running a 1/4" spacer on top of the Fox 2.0's to get a 2 1/2" level and still had to tie back my liners. I payed $800.00 for the Fox 2.0's from Performance lifts and installed them my self in under three hours including changing out my UCA's to Reklez UCA's. Here is a picture of my truck with the 2.0's.
  17. I had the Fox 2.0’s on my 2018 LTZ for 3k miles . Changed them out when I did the CST 4.5” lift for full coil overs . The Fox’s rode better then the stock struts. Very simple install, like two hours, but you will need an alignment. I have the Fox’s for sale right now. Trying to sell them local in Michigan because UPS is a hassle to ship due to the nitrogen in the struts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. For the price we pay for these trucks they should come powder coated from the factory. I absolutely hate the wax coating that only GM does. My truck is only 9 months old and I have wax coming off in spots where hoists have touched it. I also have areas where it is so lightly coated that surface rust has already appeared. On the plus side I'm only 10 minutes from Highland, Michigan so I have an option to have it done the way GM should have done it.
  19. No way a 20x10 with -24 is not going to rub with that tire size. Your max size tire would be a 285/55/20 and with just a 2" level that would likely rub also. I ran 10x20 -19 with a 295/55/20 with 4" of lift on my 2013 GMC and had to do a large Nor Cal. to clear the inner fender. On my 2018 with a 2 1/2" level, I was running a 285/60/20 on a 20x9 0 offset and rubbed the inner fender quite hard until I zip tied the liner back and trimmed the plastic flap. A 20x10 -24 wheel has a 4 1/2" backspace.
