    eBay lol The company does sell billet door handles also. eBay, but mine was more of a brushed finish instead of the full polished. I actually just received a full polished full tailgate handle (like this: https://amistyling.com/billet-tailgate-handle-polished-953cm ) but I think I’m going to just stick with the brushed one.     I installed a billet tailgate handle today. In the past I used to hate chrome & even dechromed the window trim on my 96 Impala SS, but I’ve actually added a little bling to this truck with this & the center console lid handle.

    Thank you! My Dad has been wondering about the Escalade. He hasn’t been too happy with his 2015. He still Mainly drives his 2000 3/4ton Suburban with the 8.1L big block. It’s got over a half million miles on it...

    Reading this thread gives me hope & pisses me off at the same time. My 18 Sierra developed the shudder early on. I took it to the dealer for the first oil change a couple hundred miles ago. They said I do have the shudder (duh), but they have several customers ahead of me “waiting on parts” & will contact me when they come in... It is just a thorough fluid flush, right?

    I noticed that the center console latch in my Sister’s Tahoe & my Dad’s Escalade is chrome, but the one in my Sierra SLT is black, so thanks to this forum I found the part number & ordered a chrome latch. I installed it tonight. Getting the lid apart for the first time was a bitch! I was sure i was going to break the plastic.

    The only thing I’ve done that could make a difference on fuel economy has been the muffler delete. I also used premium fuel for most of that time, but did put in some mid-grade for some Highway only driving at a station that seemed priced way high.

    I can add a cheap mod to this thread. I saw some .45acp shell casing valve stem caps for sale where I got my windows tinted. I thought the idea was cool, but the .45s looked a bit much. Tried some .40S&W casings when I got home. They fit perfect! These are nickel plated Hornady Extreme Duty casings, so I’m not expecting any significant oxidation or discoloration like brass.
