    Saw someone else, on one of the other threads, do it, just going to us his, when/if I get around to it. Been planning on installing my front hitch during my holiday break from work, back in '14, when I bought it. Yeah, about that. Life keeps changing my plans and getting in the way. One of these days, I'll start a thread of my build/mods, will post it there.

    With the Z71 grill, single row. Double row will get some of its light blocked by the grill. With the single row, you can line it up with the break between rows on the grill. I'm looking at getting two single row light bars, one for upper and another for lower.

    Steelie makes a magnet mount that clips onto the vents. The only downside with it, that I had, was when you turn (corner/curve), the phone/holder/vent moves towards the outside of the turn.

    Crossed the 45K mark on my way to work. Seems like I just got my truck last month, when in fact, last month was 2 years.

    Stopped in Temescal Valley, CA, for gas on my way home from San Diego, and the stupid refuel pipe housing broke away from my truck. Anyone else have this happen? Permanent fix ideas? I'm looking at getting a short, close tolerance bolt, washers, and nut to fix it. Stupid cheap plastic "panel retainer" will not hold it securely.

    Loaded up the truck this morning for a day of cleaning, maintenance, and decorating for Christmas at the Edwards AFB Chapel. Wanted to run someone(s) over for not tearing the trees down and putting them in their storage bags back in January. They BROKE the tallest (9') one, that should be in the sanctuary and bent the top on the 6' tree, for the fellowship hall. We carefully straightened out the 6' and put it in the sanctuary. Then ran all of our tools/supplies home, put them away, and ran to Rosamond for their Parade of Lights, where my daughter was playing in the Desert HS Marching Band.

    Interesting, never tried the single press method with our '16 Pilot, when we had it. Could have swore that the current generation still required double-clutching the unlock to roll the windows down. I'll do some digging in the Piloteer forum to see if others had the same issue and came up with any solutions, but it may be as simple as digging around through the settings on the vehicle.

    Yeah, my '06 & '10 Ridgelines would roll the windows up, but you had to use the driver's door keyhole. The windows would remote/key down, but only key up, double-clutching all three options. My Ridgelines would also power to the rear slider and sunroof, but you have to hold the interior switches to do it, would not do open/close off of the remote or the keyhole otherwise. Haven't played with my truck enough to see if it will do the same as my Ridgelines did.

    Corrected my entry above, had wrong pins. Looking through the schematics, looks like you'll have to jump BRN10-BRN22.

    Yeah, I was just thinking about that while I was at lunch. I wonder if anyone has used a propane heater to warm up their vehicle to pull dents with dry ice?

    Is there a crease in it? No, grab some dry ice on a HOT day, let that door warm up for a while, take the dry ice, swirl it from the outside of the dent to the middle, stop the swirl, and PULL. Removed several hundred hail dents from my '93 Grand Am that way, bought it for half price, post T-storm from hell, car looked like a golf ball, when I bought it.

    I press/hold (about 2 seconds) the lock button on the FOB as I walk away, to fold them. Press/Hold the unlock button until the second flash of the corner lights to unfold them. If you hold the unlock past the second flash, the windows will ALL lower. We had a good coat of dew a few weeks ago, and my folded mirrors and the adjacent glass was dry. Likewise, last winter, frost not on my folded mirrors, nor the section of windows next to them.

    Over the weekend, I drove up to the Big Bear area and home again, out on Friday and home on Sunday. Cleaned out the truck to make room for a couple that went with us. Only had a small bit of traffic when I was going from I-215 SB to SR-210 EB, on the loop. Way home was smooth all the way home. Now to wash/vacuum the truck one these mornings.

    Yup, these cops know how to spot a non-DOT light at 65+MPH. If anything, they'll write you up for not having a cover on them, except for behind the grill.

    Besides my daily ritual of driving to/from work, drove out to Stater Bros in Mojave for a few things, came home, put the perishables away, and went out and tuned my CB antenna. Didn't quite get the measurements I was looking/hoping for, but at least now I'm less likely to fry my radio while transmitting.
