  1. GMC switched to a blue theme (same as Chevy) starting with the 2017 MY. My buddy’s ‘16 Sierra is red, my ‘17 Sierra is all blue. Including the infotainment system
  2. Holy hell! They ARE real! This must be what it feels like to finally lay eyes the holy grail. Thank you sir. Looking forward to your review
  3. Thank you for the reply. Looking forward to your update, I plan on doing the same set up with the 6112’s
  4. Thanks. Post an update once you get them. I’ve got 5100’s in the rear but still stock ranchos up front with a level. Would love to switch to 6112’s if there is a noticeable difference in ride quality.
  5. Anyone receive or install 6112’s on their K2 yet? I am interested in a set but would like someone to be the guinea pig lol.

  7. Also sick of it. That commercial is a good example of how out of touch the marketing clowns at GM are. What percentage of their target audience can actually afford to buy 2 brand new Denalis for Christmas? And the majority of people who can afford to drop over six figures on vehicles probably aren’t shopping for a GMC
  8. Put on a small magnaflow or borla XR1 muffler. Something that is straight through.
  9. My 6.2 8-speed does the same thing.
  10. Maybe there’s a supercharger lurking under the hood...how hard is said acceleration? Haha
  11. If you don’t have the on/off switch on your dash, then your passenger seat has the passenger sensing system which enables the airbag if a properly seated passenger is present. If no passenger is present, no airbag deployment. Some lower trim levels, WT, etc. may have the on/off switch, but I have never seen one in a K2. And K2XX is the assembly code for the platform on which your truck is built. ‘99-‘06 trucks were built on the GMT800 platform, ‘07-‘13 trucks on the GMT900 platform, ‘14-‘18 trucks on the GMT K2XX platform, the new platform for ‘19 and beyond is GMT T1XX. I tell you all that only because you will see those codes thrown around on the forum as a reference to a certain generation of trucks.
  12. Such a key slot does not exist on K2XX trucks as far as I am aware.
  13. Awesome. Thanks for the reply.
  14. Great looking truck man. The small amount of bronze on the wheels coordinates perfect with your paint color. Did you add the 5100’s before you switched to new tires/wheels? I’m wondering if you noticed any improvement in ride quality with 5100’s in the rear.
  15. Thanks for the reply. I like the thin profile of those mud flaps as well. What brand are those?

  17. That stance is killer. I’ve been looking at some method mesh wheels in 17x8.5. I’m leaning towards Ridge Grapplers for tires though. What level kit are you running?
  18. Well we have to drive something. I’d prefer a truck over horse and buggy.
  19. Haha that was my guess. Cord through the rear slider.
  20. Curious how you wired those up?
  21. Thanks for the reply. Hopefully I can stay clear with the 1.5 inch level.
  22. Man that sounds awesome. I feel like this 6.2 is capable of so much more. I also have an 8speed (2017 Sierra). I recently had the shudder issue fixed with a transmission flush at the dealer. But I would love for the truck to wake up a little and act like a 6.2 and not a 4.3. I’m up in Fayetteville, so van buren is a short drive for me.
  23. Great looking truck. Does this set-up rub or require any trimming of the wheel well liner? I plan to drop down to 17 inch method wheels and wrap them with 285/70 Ridge Grapplers. And I’m leaning toward a 1.5 inch ready-lift front level. How much room do you have with the 2 inch level?
  24. X2. Definitely not normal. Either the tech that inspected your truck was deaf, or they didn’t want to chase down the noise.
  25. The steps on the exterior of the truck, the things you step on to leverage yourself into the vehicle. Not the door sill plates.
