  1. Both mine came in and I installed them. I had to unscrew the 4th bolt on the mirror, my slt mirrors only used 3, no big deal. Only thing that doesn't work on my 2014 is the amber lights when truck is running and the reverse or cargo lights on the mirror. I know I can get boost auto kits to make them work but I'm not going to. Amber mirror lights do come on at night when I unlock or remote start but go off when the key is in the ignition. Everything else works fine. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  2. I just bought 2 with that issue, I used drylube wd40 and sprayed tge motor and it's working now, not sure how long it will last. When you fold them make sure the truck is running, in key on mode they don't fold. Not sure if they don't get enough voltage? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  3. They should just bolt on and plug in, if you already have the power folding mirrors. Thus is what I'm doing, once the driver side comes in the mail. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  4. It's too late for a before at this point haha [emoji2369] but I have couple apps, I'll try it out Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  5. Nahh, for a 1/4 inch difference not worth it. I'm just posting this here to give another option for those who just delete muffler or chop stock setup to make something worth. This is cheaper but great quality for what it is. One could spend double the price for a Gibson or 5x more for Birla [emoji2369] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Pretty sure MVP is in the US unless you can prove me wrong? It's working great and improved throttle response but you don't have to go this route [emoji2369] Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. The good thing about this setup is that you can swap mufflers being that it's a clamp on. You just have to use an offset inlet/center outlet muffler Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. Change your battery if it's the original one. Mine lasted 3yr. Check your body to engine grounds. I added another ground from neg battery to the firewall. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. Here is my video of the new exhaust system I put together. MVP 3" pipe kit for the 2014-2019 sierra/silverado + 3" Flowmaster flowfx muffler + 3" band clamps It's all 3" 409SS from cat to the tip. Sounds great, no drone (I'm v8 only) when cruising, great roar when you get on it. Been a month and it's gotten louder and sounds nice and deep. https://ebay.com/usr/worldwideperformance Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. AirAid tube with the stock air box and K&N filter inside is working great for me. Gives a nice growl on acceleration. Run a quality catch can setup since your truck is still new-ish
  11. if this will be your 3rd time, that can fall under the lemon law (same problem 3 times) so look into that. You may be able to get GM to buy that truck back.
  12. Dont get caught up in the "Best Oil" race. Use whatever 0w-20 you can get on sale. Heck, i even mixed different brands of same weight before. Rotella is my current brand, loaded up on the last sale. Change it before 7500 or 25% and you'll be good. Just remember to use the best filter, for me its usually Mobil 1 extended performance. They go on sale sometimes.
  13. impressive, my trans went at 120k. Got it rebuild elsewhere. Im still pretty confident that getting the trans flushed at 98k at the dealer eventually caused this. Do not flush people, drop and drain only. Im at 135k now on 2014 SLE
  14. OP - First think you need to know is: Are you keeping cylinder deactivation or not? If you are keeping it then be ready for the helicopter chop if you go with a system that eliminates the valve. If you will turn it off and never go back then any catback will work, no chopper noise.
  15. I 'll update mine: I was inthe same boat, nothing was working and after the first incident it happened again, this time going 60+ in evening commute on a 4 lane highway and of course i was on the left lane. The truck just cut off, lights and all, i had to coast to the right lane and my 2 yr old was in the truck. Scary situation. What fixed the issue for me was me adding a ground cable from NEG battery to the ground bolt next to the brake booster. This basically gives you a second ground cable and no issues since.
  16. You got one hell of a deal. Those around me, when they can be found are 1500 min for a new set, which still is a decent deal. Looks great! Considering a front level?
  17. My suspicion is the torque converter because all this is very similar to what I experienced and I was chasing a misfire, when all along it was the TQ slipping. That is covered till 120k miles so I suggest you have the dealer take a look, pay the $200 diagnostics fee. If it's the TQ you won't have to pay that fee. Mine went about 30k after getting it flushed Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  18. you are out of warranty based on build date? 5yr/100k
  19. A lot of people also use PowerStop z36 kit for trucks, including me. I have no complaints and you can find it in many places online. I got mine from RockAuto. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/gmc,2014,sierra+1500,5.3l+v8,3294374,brake+&+wheel+hub,rotor+&+brake+pad+kit,13824 They have the AC delco one you speak as well, they both should be good for what you want.
  20. I cant remember what kit the shop got but you tube the delete and you will see how its done. There are few ways to do it. Delete means the trans fluid circulates and starts to get cooled soon as you start the truck vs reaching the thermostat temp and then circulating.
  21. I had mine deleted when it was rebuilt and it runs nice and cool, its even fine in north east winters.I had no issues, been over 12k miles now. You can DIY it (youtube it) or there are delete kits out there for around $100 which is what i got.
  22. Replace all plugs and wires if they are stock, at that milage you should have changed them already. Then run SeaFoam FUEL INJECTOR cleaner, not the seafoam cleaning procedure but that will also help you im sure. SeaFoam fuel cleaner in those small bottles is what fixed my clogged injector misfire issue, no other cleaner helped. Run 2 per tank at least 2 tanks.
  23. No, Your trans blew because of the crappy Torque Converter issue. Mine went at 120k miles on my 2014. About 30k miles after getting a dealer trans flush done. Have you gotten that service before 160k?
  24. Yes i know, i bought the proper ones for the 2015 from LasFit assuming they would also be nice as the D5S bulbs. Truck is at 140k miles almost so i wont be doing a retrofit
  25. I installed mine on the 2014 and im not happy at all. Besides needing to adjust to get the best possible beam pattern, the light output is almost half of what i had with Morimoto HID setup. I will be returning them and going back to the HID Setup. Im sure its the projectors in the 2014s that don't play well with LED bulbs. High beam was also weak. With the HIDs i can see a 1/4 mile down on a very dark road, its crazy bright.
