Check your exhaust, the flex pipe may be touching the frame. Im hunting a rattle in slow speeds and i think that is my issue.

It may have something to do with the driver door. If you go from passenger door, turn truck on and off then your radio will still play till RAP shuts off.

Yep, i had Sprint Booster on my Diesel BMW X5, makes a huge difference on how it drives. Adds no power but makes it more enjoyable to drive. SB and Pedal Commander does the same thing essentially.

Pedal Commander to trick the system? I have it and sure makes driving the truck enjoyable. Sometimes the touchy throttle surprises me if i get on it hard. One caution: You have to find the sweet spot in the adjustments where if you go over, you will get throttle positioning engine code. Go couple notches below that and you should be code free.

I bought this apartment building as investment property, while cleaning out the basement found a box with bunch of wires and headphones that get signal from a base station that you hook to a tv or radio. I turned on the headphone, there were still batteries in it and it was playing like 50s music but creepy sounding 50s music. I turned them off and basically left lol Another day i tried again and same. The base station isnt hooked up, basically just a wireless old headphone.. still playing the same style music. I threw the entire box of wires and such out right away. Dont need that in my life ?

Right, it almost seems like a bait and switch deal where they want you to come in for the free fix but they know most of the pumps will be bad and they scare you with the unsafe to drive part to get them to fix it, when in fact it should be a recall for sure. Bunch of BS!

so you took it in for the recall and instead of doing the recall they said you need a new pump, which you have to pay for? Was your pump bad to begin with? If i take mine in i just want them to do the recall job, not try to sell me on service and part replacements. Mine has no issues as of now.

Why would they pay for new rotors and pads? Booster is the issue. What you have is normal wear.

IF my truck was brand new to me with zero miles or so, i'd use AMSOIL and stick to it but buying it used at 88k and now being at 126k, im not switching mostly thinking it wont do me any good since i wont keep my truck for many more years. Lots of folks may be in this same scenario. IF and when i do get a new or newish truck i will make the switch.

idling for 5 mins while waiting for someone or you idling for 3 hours for whatever reason? Big difference. And if you have the need to idle, the reason will be more important such as you need AC on or heat on, in that case i wouldn't care about the fuel since your other needs are necessary at that time.

275/60/20s are 33" so someone upgraded the tires. Are they stock, you have a picture? I just use AT tires year around and does great in NY winters. If you need new tires consider Cooper AT/3 or AT/4s and you will be good year around.

Battery is a year old so cant be that.. I will check those other grounds tonight. Truck just died while on the highway, went all black but it was still running. Then all lights came back on. I parked at daycare and came back to a dead truck. Wiggled the cables and they were all tight but after that the truck started so i tighten them as much as i can anyways.

This just happened to me the other day in the daycare parking lot. Turning right , foot on the brake around 10mph and lost everything, steering locked up and i almost hit the fence. Truck skid a bit when i hit the brakes since it was wet after some rain. Cant be having this random issue with a 2yr old in the car. Thanks for the recall info, i will call the dealer today. Edit: Looks like this was already done to mine in 2017 but its happening again. Lady at the dealer basically said cant help you with recall again. Still taking it in for them to look and see if the software update is still there, not sure what else to do. Im going to try to replicate the issue in a parking lot.

i just use one of those magnet ones that is stuck on the left side of center console edge, right by the USB plugs. Holds secure and its in natural grip range when you extend your hand out, dont even have to look down to see it. Very easy to grab and go or put in place when you sit down. It also works fine for quick glances if youre using GPS.

My Torque Converter went at 120k miles, required a complete rebuild of the trans. Have you gotten your trans flushed yet? TC is a known issue with the 2014 and 2015 models.

One Hidden feature i discovered, at 120k miles was that the Torque Converter likes to explode This leaves you with a nice and empty wallet.

I had done this a while ago but for anyone tat wants instant throttle response, try Pedal Commander or Sprint booster and whatever other throttle signal modifier is out there. I have PC and it def works great. Im in sport +2 mode and all it needs is a small tip in and the truck just reacts instantly. No it doesnt add power but you will love driving your truck. Price should be cheaper but still its worth it. I got it used off fleebay.

The helicopter noise is more noticeable when you have an aftermarket muffler vs stock.

2014 sierra 6spd with 120k miles Just got a call from dealer saying its the TC. Its been shuddering and kicking while under light load. Waiting for a call on how bad the damage is, ughh..
