  1. You guys aren't having any other problems when you swap to random LED stuff? I've seen times that circuits freak out and over heat or they just don't work.
  2. Heater core should be on passenger side or close to it. OP when you looked under the carpet was there a body plug or grommet for a wiring harness/parking brake out of place? lower portion of the windshield could be leaking too.
  3. You should be the guinea pig for the seafoam spray treatment to clean that. Do it and take an after shot. On Truck Tech they showed an before and after on a similar mileage truck and it looked good but the episode was sponsored by seafoam so who knows.
  4. I think they are Nitto Ridge Grapplers
  5. Is it just me or does everyone feel that other peoples trucks are cooler looking even when you have the same exact one?
  6. It's not that big a deal, just plug in and go.
  7. On video the engine sounds like a helicopter! The whistle sounds like a vacuum leak. Does it idle high?
  8. Trace that harness back down and look for where it grounds.
  9. Check for power at the light socket itself. Swap the working bulb with the non working bulb to see if you just have a bad bulb.
  10. Slow1500 has it right but I would target upstream o2 not down. If the trucks cold don't worry, if it's at operating temp and stinks then maybe somethings up.
  11. Pulled rear wheel well liners and rocker plugs and sprayed fluid film all up in there.
  12. A lifter collapse would just not open a valve it wouldn't get oil in the cylinder. If oil is getting in it's potentially piston rings, valve seals or a head/head gasket problem. You're going to have to dive deeper in. I'd start looking at the injectors just since we've seen enough failures that it could just be dumping fuel in and maybe is mixing with the carbon on the tip of the plug to turn whatever liquid is in there a darker color.
  13. Oil soaked or fuel soaked? Oil shouldn't enter a cylinder if it's a lifter issue.
  14. Holes are smaller than a paperclip, you can use a pin but you'll hog the whole sprayer out.
  15. Could have just been a junk battery from the start, I wouldn't concern myself with it to much at this point. Bring it to the dealer and they'll have to do a test with a midtronics machine and get a print out that the battery is no good or they'll end up charging it and sending you on your way.
  16. Cause hes a lube tech only and not good at his job.
  17. Mesh won't keep out a mouse if it wants in. There's no manufacturing fail here just another owner who is mad about something so they want to blame GM. Guess what they'll climb into the engine bay and eat the wires too.
  18. If you plugged in all the way and it's static then I'd say the antenna has issues. Is it OEM? New or used?
  19. Your neck and back would hurt anyways. Accidents suck.
  20. I'm not familiar enough to know if GM has a power window module like some other manufacturers or if its built into the motor.
  21. It needs to be relearned. NOT using the auto feature roll it down and hold the button down for 5 seconds then NOT using the auto feature roll it up and continue to hold the button for 5 seconds.
  22. Sounds like a shifter interlock to me.
