  1. We realize this location is not ideal for all trailers. If you put it at the top the transparent view will not work. The transparent view stiches together four camera views: tailgate, mirrors, and rear trailer cam. If you don't put trailer cam just above the tailgate cam, that area of image will be distorted and fish eye looking. There is a few inch flexibility window with the camera placement. Any more than that, you will have calibration issues. #iworkforGM
  2. Are you sure it is in the column? I have seen some popping in front suspension. This is usually fixed by loosening your upper and lower control bolts and re-torqueing at ride height. When suspension bolts in bushings don't get torqued at ride height they get preloaded and can cause noise at slow speeds in parking lots.
  3. There are proper placement and camera angle that need to be followed. The camera needs to be in center of trailer and 4 inches higher than camera in tailgate when your trailer is attached. The camera angle needs to be about 35 degrees. So 0 degrees would be straight down, raise the camera 35 degrees from there. You generally don't want to be seeing the end of trailer or bumper. If you see any shadows in the rear trailer camera view, it will have trouble calibrating. You may have go in different direction. I recommend exiting the trailer app when calibrating and open camera app and select transparent view. There will be a yellow status bar on the bottom to show the calibration progress. I have never seen them calibrate in 60 feet it usually quite a bit longer. #iworkforGM
  4. I haven't done the swap but, they only difference between LD and HD is the bezel where the mirrors mounts. Not sure if can remove the bezel from tow mirror and put it on non tow. #iworkforGM
  5. You could have your dealer clear the calibration offsets in the steering gear. There has been a few cases were this has helped. There are going to add this step to the bulletin. #iworkforGM
  6. Service bulletin 19-na-240 is posted for dealers now.
  7. I don't think heavy duty front spring should increase your payload. You are just going up one torsion bar size which increases your FGAWR 400 lbs. The GVW is supposed to stay the same. Your payload should go down a few lbs due to the truck being heavier and gvw being the same. #iworkforGM
  8. They set them high at factory to help with flat spotting. Dealers are supposed to reset.
  9. I believe you can have up to five trailer profiles.
  10. Steering calibration is now available at dealers to repair the majority of these issues. The service bulletin is not up yet so all dealers may not be aware.
  11. Do you have a high optioned trim? SLT or higher on GMC, LTZ or higher on Chevy? If so, there is a service bulletin coming directing dealers how to fix. Should be available next week.
  12. Is the vibration in the steering wheel, seat/floor, or both? #iworkforGM
  13. Pulling typically is a cross caster or camber being too high or tire ply rat issue. If the steering wheel is off but drives straight, the toe is off.
  14. Are the trucks pulling or is the steering wheel off? #iworkforGM
  15. Transparent trailer will not work on fifth wheel or GN. The system will not calibrate. If you have a conventional trailer over the maximum length around 33 ft (10 meters), set your dimension 1 to the maximum. Transparent will work if you fake the actual length. Some of the images may not be ideal but, most people won't know the difference. Most people have issues with the dimension from center of ball to front of the trailer. This is dimension 5 or 6. I can't remember for sure. You need to measure this if the trailer had a flat front. So if trailer is rounded or pointed, don't measure to point closest to truck. Measure to where the trailer box ends. #iworkforGM
  16. I don't think you can level without proper rebound travel without control arm or frame modifications. There is a service rebound stop that would need to be modified or you will never get enough rebound travel.
  17. 6.6L gas is running 11.5" ring gear for 2020. #iworkforGM
  18. Looks correct. Not sure what to try next.
  19. I would recommend trying to see if your SD card is unlocked. Power off vehicle, open and close drivers door, and let truck go to sleep (wait until green monster light is out). Open center console, remove SD, look at SD card and there is a gray slider on left side of SD card, make sure that is in up position. Reinstall SD and start the vehicle, accept all the messages and see if any return after a few key cycles. #iworkforGM
  20. Does it come back after you accept the conditions during the next key cycle? #iworkforGM
  21. The speed limiter is due to your tire speed rating.
  22. Did any of you try "add accessory" thru your trailer app? It's in your trailer profile section of the app.
  23. You can order any 2500 with CGO option that will restrict to 10,000 lb gvw in US and 9900 lb in Canada. #iworkforGM
  24. It does not have the system. You need the 360 camera (option uvs) for transparent trailer. You probably need at least ltz trim. #iworkforGM
  25. You can. You just have to leave a huge loop because 5th wheels and GN can turn so sharp.
