  1. Bilsteins are stiffer shock than stock...some like it others dont....you want suspension moving freely and at proper angles....your down travel is reduced, UCA is at bad spot, as well as CV angles.....bigger tires always factor in.......which one or combination thereof is subjective and personal if you lift an AT4 you need control arms, spacers are notorious for bad ride (travel is limited)...but still it's subjective on what one thinks is acceptable and another doesnt...if you research it a bit you'll have better understanding When I was getting my truck done a guy with leveled TB broke his control arms along with 2 others I know and numerous threads on readylift AT4/TB level kit gone wrong.....you have (should) to correct geometry when you lift 4 inches.....plain and simple....
  2. CV will be fine....it makes total sense why it rides horrible tho...
  3. I drive this way normally.....i always release the brakes to make the stop " seamless".....which means applying pressure and releasing couple of times for every stop.....just a habit ive always done.....my 19 RST had the clunk to first gear even still, though my 21 Elevation ( 8 spd) has been flawless so far......
  4. agree.....bilsteins while more controlled arent soft....they perform well but arent cushy, just depends on what you want......if stock shocks had some rebound dampening they wouldnt be that bad.....on 1500 you notice it more, on 2500 the stiffer springs make up for shock a bit when empty.....should have kept my 2500 tbh
  5. not too bad on a 2500 at all....you cant order a truck right now anyways, be a year b4 it comes in.......agree if your buying a denali it better have all the goodies......there are some dealers willing to sell at decent price just have to find them
  6. I didn't think a custom had a SD card slot.....thought on conv 2 pkg on LT trim or higher gives you SD
  7. I put LED headlights (hi and lo beams) in my 2500 LT 2020 model and now have LED reverse lights in 2021 GMC Sierra elevation ....take out old bulb plug in new....no harness, non GM spec part......super easy There are ton of kits on Amazon that sell LED for halogen housings....ive had 0 issues.....lights that use amber or red lens doesn't make huge difference like white lights do Disappointing GM can't put an LED Bulb in all lights on 55k truck (easy fix we shouldn't have to do)...especially when 20-30k cars have them....to owner of GM your welcome for fishing boat you bought saving money in trucks lighting that should already have it, lol WT possibly is only truck should come with halos, rest should be LEDs and better versions in higher trims....when 1 starts doing it they all will
  8. I was thinking about one of these as well...have heard good things.....
  9. Ordering is Fart in the wind right now unless you have some connections
  10. Even though says they don't fit just installed and fit perfect....much better light
  11. I know I talked to 30 dealers when i bought mine....back in feb, it is what it is......there is probably a few just search function for GM and even RAM is kinda lame.....dont make it easy thats for sure
  12. yep.......really could care less if anyone follows me, be my guest and grab a bag of popcorn!
  13. x31 and z71 come with twin tube ranchos......AT4 and Trail boss come with monotube Ranchos the AT4/TB shocks are better.....
  14. They can't even get the trucks they have built working to be sold on lots.....ordering right now would be a shot in the dark.....alot of orders have no idea when they will come......find one on lot is best option....you could be waiting forever...... Dealers only get so many allocations and for them to lose one on a base model may be a concern......cant believe everything they say.....alot of them said they could when in reality they couldn't or wouldnt.....but for sure higher volume should have more allocations..
  15. Or just but a drop kit..I haven't found many though just by themselves....maybe BDS/Zone will sell them independently but good luck getting ahold of them
  16. its either angle of cv shafts (4" is lot for standard geometry) or its interferring with boot/cv axles is my guess.......shouldnt have a problem running any 4WD mode if done properly....I have heard of issues with Ready Lift TB kits and 4WD modes.....it would concern me if a company says our kit hinders normally functioning operation of the drive system.....something isnt right I would check out those 2 things
  17. i basically have bilstein 5100 AT4 suspension and picked up Cognito UCA......reason is replaceable joint and they fit with stock wheels.........they were $399 pair......my tires are 275/60 or 65/R20....whatever the elevation wheel is any UCA is better than stock......they really are cheap once you see them off the truck, i was actually kinda shocked.....a soda pop can is first thing i thought of when i got my stock UCAs back.....
  18. Yeah man politics have nothing to do with issue in auto market.. if dealers can get it they will, plain and simple.... Why won't you go out of state?...to save thousands its no brainer ..
  19. it says they wont fit?.....how did you know they would prior to ordering?.....
  20. ^^^^^ exactly..... if your gonna go 4x4 on purpose than 6112 would be the call......if not than 5100s, its as simple as that 5160s are just rears for 6112 front setup......
  21. a ton of information here and welcome
  22. if they sold the interior of LT with all goodies.....making the suspension a TB is piece of cake.....
