  1. i did.....i tried about 8 different places and yeah just depends on your area and car.....a year or so ago car max had highest offer but this time carvana did.....give me the vin also was high bidder at one point.... try them all and whoever is highest when its to sell gets it......dealerships were alot lower than all of them for me, and i tried a few even out of state.....about 7k lower
  2. i sold my 2020 2500 for a $3500 profit in which i received 8k off MSRP when i bought it,..I never paid sales tax because i financed 100% of the truck....I rented it for 7 months basically .....replaced it with a 21 GMC 1500 for 8k off MSRP.....i did come out lil ahead but granted not same model trucks...and also didnt trade it into a dealership my 2500 was stock... front tint and running boards only ( $280) if it didnt work out like that i wouldnt have done it..... will never happen again in my lifetime
  3. The problem is buying a replacement....I made out bcuz it was 2500 and there aren't any around....carvana had the highest offer.....I also replaced it when rebates were decent (8k off new gmc).....right now local dealers are tacking on 5k for "market adjustment" so 5k rebate is squashed.....in other areas though possible to get a deal.....more gmc's than chevys from what I've seen
  4. that answers that
  5. KINGS are money.....well worth it considering trucks cost 50-70k
  6. maybe one from a 20/21 2500 HD?......ive had both trucks and tailgate seems to be the same but idk for sure
  7. i made $3500 on a 2020 silverado 2500 HD i bought last april 2020 and sold in february 2021.....i couldnt believe it either.....you have to buy new right now its the only way......used is way too overpriced
  8. i would run eibach or bilstein kit and UCA of your choice for same money..... those shocks are junk and you already have the correct block in the rear of your truck....your paying for UCA and spacers, $1000 is steep for what your getting.....basically your paying for a UCA they sell for $399 cept your paying $1000
  9. spacers compress the shock and makes them ride in a harsher part of the travel, it also reduces the available travel and reduces ride quality....you could buy a bilstein or eibach kit and use their spring to get you to 3.5/4 ... control arm could be binding if its stock too....bigger tires dont help either so just a matter of what your willing to compromise.....you basically scrap out the RC front portion of the kit.... anytime you adjust the suspension height you need alignment and if truck was bought used maybe not a bad idea anyway.....
  10. Agreed, not alot of difference on weight....1/4 in if that
  11. lots have tried on 1500s with no luck is only reason i know about it.....
  12. makes no sense.....cv shafts are only difference, most kits are for either model.....there are peeps who have already done it on 2wd, almost positive.....check youtube ive seen them i believe
  13. the make the CVs longer because the differential isnt lowered, if you did lower it the problem is solved.......the angle is more important.....at 2" its probably borderline of not needing anything but GM probably found it cheaper production wise to just have longer axles vs making new brackets to lower it a an inch or so.......you wouldnt think that would be the case, but seems like it is as most bigger lift kits just use drop brackets.....longer CV in a bad angle is still a bad angle, at 2" not really a concern , at 4"-6" and up it is GM probably gets the half shafts for same cost as the standard ones so doesnt cost anymore to build than standard truck.....however if they had to make frames different or brackets than that does add cost and time between 2 models....slower production also adds cost, so just an idea and idk if this is true
  14. just use TB 5100 front......and standard rears or use eibach spring in combination with 5100 standard kit or use eibach springs and TB kit........lots of options depnding on height you want
  15. nitrogen in tires.....markup is 1000%....not a huge ticket item but markup has to be the highest,
  16. am doing AT4 5100s with eibach springs on my Elevation....should be 3"-3.2" in front on lowest setting, will add rear 2" block.....install shortly also will do the arm/small drop on half shafts.....bit of rake is fine with me,
  17. 4wd has cv axles and 2wd doesnt.....its easier on 2wd
  18. corner to corner should be fine and GM does have biggest beds in the industry...i raced mx for years and hauled my bike to track 3 times a week......
  19. yeah just get the adjustable struts....its a better way to go imo than a spacer, dont have to worry about anything else at 2'......probably need an alignment
  20. you would think it would be for workers and most need a standard box.....oh well, i dont plan on buying another truck anytime soon so
  21. some rep told me same thing...ill use my experience
  22. nowhere does GM say you can raise a TB up another 2" above stock TB height on their stock arms.....no company has a 0-4" range afaik.....its a bad idea period
  23. for my 21 elevation ordered 5100 AT4 kit with eibach springs to level it out
  24. just bought a set for $439 ( AT4 set) for all 4 corners....
