  1. you shouldnt have to make car payments on a vehicle you dont have.....makes no sense, i know you have to for your personal credit and all but thats like financing a house but you cant move in.....whats the point contact an attorney yesterday!......i am reasonable person but ridiculous stuff like this that makes no sense that i have to pay for i would be really pissed doing everything in my power to get some peeps off their butts and do something.....truck is my living a car wouldnt do at all
  2. under spacers were rubbing the boots causing CV issues and a problem in 4WD, .....either a top or bottom that puts the arm past its limit will have problems.....RC is no different... regardless of brand spacers rarely break if ever, its what it does to other componets if its past their limit, plain and simple....all the metal pucks are the same
  3. still a great deal even if a bedliner was standard.....factory ones arent the best anyhow and much prefer line x or bullet....bed of my truck is my living.....if you dont need it dont get it
  4. 6.2.....read everything here and i would get bigger motor......dont drive enough for gas to be an issue, and its alot more fun and stronger and I wouldnt even need to start a thread to make that decision
  5. idk why anyone would even consider a spacer lift with the 5100, Eibachs available....and obviously the higher end stuff if desired almost same cost for all new and better shocks plus the lift....no brainer even if it was double the cost its still worth it
  6. i would take a carbon pro, as i work in construction the bed is a big deal.....for 1k sure why not, bed liner gonna cost me $500 and I get speakers too.....idk if i would use them ....1k seems reasonable for that pkg if it was important
  7. i noticed sport mode in my RST but not so much in my GMC elevation.....maybe just used to it idk but it seemed more aggressive in RST....i noticed the stiffer steering more in RST i pretty much run in tow/haul mode around town also tow/haul mode in my 2500 was much more agressive than in 1500s
  8. where ever you can find them for the best price......not too expensive either way
  9. the spring is responsible for weight of the truck, nothing to do with shock......if motor is heavier throw heavier springs on same as one would with a winch or aftermarket bumper....
  10. there are much better options than RC.....the money is always the issue but eventually you will pull them and put a quality set on, happens almost everytime once you start down that path.....RC is a lift co not a suspension co
  11. i had 1800 on my RST 2019 went to 3596 on 2500 2020 and now 1717 on GMC elevation 2021....probably 20'' rims that reduced payload between 2 1500 trucks
  12. ive had both and much prefer base black ac delcos over the twin tube ranchos i have currently in x31.....would be a waste imo to throw them on intentionally
  13. it is a strut lift it actually pushes down thus lifting the truck there are quite a few companies that have the exact same thing, either adjustable collar or clip style setup once you learn how they work it makes sense and its pretty basic
  14. exactly.....at some point you are gonna have problems...........longer cv axles dont correct the angle in which they sit at.....2" is the bubble and GM plays the odds on how many will come in for warranty vs how many wont.....its a win win for them regardless so what they say is pointless...no truck can go from standard to 4" with no modifications....its just physics live and learn i guess......i wish there was forums and message boards when i started doing this in the 80s, would have saved me a few trucks, lol cant even count how many start with these kits only to end up with better one dtl after they wasted money they thought they were saving.....
  15. 3 plus inches is too much.....standard and TB UCAs are same, GM takes the gamble that saves money on production vs repairs in service ....its a weak unit to begin with for truck that size and just cant stretch it that far past standard height...I have seen quite a few newer ones fail and myself in past have had them fail becasue i wanted the most for the least.....I wont do it again.....not to mention the other parts it trashed along with UCA.... weight and force of heavier wheels/ tires is a big deal on UCAs.....its not just the angle of ball joint that plays a role, there is quite a few reasons it makes sense .....2 in is the bubble and has been for quite awhile.....
  16. nice, i bought a cayenne red tintcoat one last month
  17. i sold my 2020 LT 2500 gas crew 2WD to carvana for 45.8k month ago, 7800 miles on it, they just sold it for 51k!.......49.6k MSRP.....paid 47.3k OTD W/TTL
  18. i added speakers only bu still need tweeters done.....mild improvement, it is there but feel an amp will make em shine alot more, stock speakers are pretty cheap once you look at them think an amp with sound deadening will be enough for me.....
  19. just source out out 5 independent companies for a price on your car, youll have a good idea what its worth, wouldnt hesitiate to sell to carvana or whoever for more money.....no tax break though so have to weight that in
  20. Have seen quite a few failures in newr trucks and I myself had failures because of doing this in past and had friends with issues.... So yeah its not Cognito Kool aid..... You take GMs word and I'll take my experience
  21. Springs are fir weight of the truck.....just go up in spring rate if you have an extra 100lbs on front Check out proper springs fir your weight....call eibach (believe they supply bilstein anyway for springs TB owners @ 3.2 inches over stock height ( 1.2 over TB height) in front I would for sure do UCA and diff......its not that much $$ to correct...problems will start eventually
  22. how much did you get out of front end height and what setting?.....am going similar route 6112/5160 ..just cant justify a KING setup for what i do currently and want something bit beefier in front than 5100
  23. exactly you can buy them at anytime and they extend past factory......you are using factory warranty for first 3/5yrs, price didnt change for my toyota that i had 15 yrs.....and i would never purchase from a dealer.....huge markup anything the dealer sells you can be purchased in free world for ALOT less.....extended warranty is last thing on my mind driving off the dealer lot in my new truck, lol.....seriously, ill think about it in 2yrs or so when i need it.....not day 1 when i dont
  24. They are very similar in every thing I've read....use different valving methods but end result seems to be almost same......only way you will really know from your perspective is to ride in both My guess is most wouldn't be able to tell a difference between the 2......both are good and price is reasonable They are very similar in what they can do and not do......now bilstein or eibach vs a KING 2.5 would be a different story as they aren't in same category .... Billy and eibach are pretty identical in spec aside from valving methods....whatever is available and best price possibly?
