  1. so wish I had got bucket seats... I didn't think I would miss it but I do....the upgraded radio would be nice as std radio is ok but better one wouldn't hurt..... tbh chevy was kinda last minute decision, most my research was on Ram and I had those pkgs dialed, but they wouldn't deal and I wont buy a ford so.....I would have happily paid 2k for conv 2 pkg.... if worried about rear window just have em take you back to service and hose down the rear window and see if it leaks prior to signing papers....I would being aware and wanting that pkg....if the sale hinges on it I am sure they would
  2. 2019 RST 4x4 5.3L 8 speed bought in august, 8100 miles....be super solid so far, a lady took out my mirror but she paid to fix it and took care of 2 recalls at same time.....runs smooth, no regrets and no problems so far.... my last 2 trucks were Toyota tundras….reliable but boring, I still drive last one from time to time....gives me fresh perspective of my Silverado, and I don't care bout bumps, loads of concrete, block, and my guys not caring same as I do when their loading it.....my Silverado is still in newborn phase, make everyone check their pockets and dust off their clothes b4 entrada for lunch I told them if I catch anyone loading anything from side of truck, it will cost em $40 no ifs, ands or butts....I don't even care if you didn't scrape it point is one day they will.....everything through the back. lol
  3. so are cv with that kit just longer?....or do they lay flatter?.....seems like a good idea though, what about the differential at 3.5 in?.....you gonna just leave it or drop it a bit at some point really though that is perfect height for me, and I don't mind a bit of rake...I just don't want to cut my truck up with lift from zone, bds, etc
  4. you aren't kidding about finding a standard bed in a 1500.....took me awhile I almost went with same kit from them ( king 2.5 and baja kits UCA), I was on my way to their shop but decided I probably wont take it offroad much and its a bit of coin even though kings are superb and am sure the truck would have rode very nice even on street....maybe DTL
  5. mine was 10.25%, friggen California! its not where you buy its where you live or where truck will be registered...so even if you don't pay it when you buy like out of state. when you register it you will wherever you live
  6. lol, walters wholesale......must be in so cal somewhere
  7. that is how they should come from factory, looks a lot more proportionate.....wheels fit body much better
  8. was at dealership yesterday for service work and walked around lot....the TB wheels do look kinda small on the truck, think they should have went a bit taller and wider to fill it out better.....I didn't notice it before but yesterday I really did can you fit a bigger tire in stock TB?
  9. I am a fan of more tire than rim....
  10. 1 1/2 to make it level, I actually don't mind some rake....1/2 to 3/4 in of rake would be perfect.....just has more factory look and there are so many leveled trucks where I live....hard to find em stock it seems somethimes, lol and yes if you drove to service dept with pro comp lift they would say it voids warranty even though they have brand new truck with that same lift parked out front for sale, lol.....and this is 3rd lift co ive seen at chevy dealer....I just never looked at MSRP sticker til today
  11. so a lady took out my mirror and was service dept getting pricing on the fix I had to wait so I was cruising around the trucks and they had a new 2020 LT with pro comp 6" lift already installed with 35" tires and some black rims ive seen before around here, pretty much the standard you see everywhere....it had spacer for front OEM struts with new spindles.....if you wanna buy a new truck already to go with a lift they will oblige you total they were charging for lift, wheels.....$9999.00......WOW! and they are not giving credit for stock wheels...seeing how you can get $1500 for new stock set of OEM wheels, this kit would be under 4k doing it yourself....hard for them to say it voids a warranty when they have one sitting on lot 4 sale but really, probably think I am just pissed cuz a lady took out my mirror on my new truck, and it was parked...(me and my workers chased her down on foot she was gonna take off, if not for red light she would have been gone)
  12. I may have one for sale in near future as I might do full center console on my RST. ill post it if and when that happens, still almost brand new.....I have jumpseat (under seat locked storage) as well that I believe has to come out for full floor console....mine is dbl cab but has rear ports though different than a CC I think, not sure
  13. yeah there is a few threads on this, I dont think anyone found a solution......basically the controls on right side of wheel control the cluster and phone.....custom has different cluster and uses an old school dial....back of steering wheel is for volume and changing radio presets
  14. I have stickers on now but bought some domed black ones few weeks ago, install em one of these days, lol
  15. my RST was exact same cost as custom TB, and I pretty much got everything cept leather seats which I didn't want...….and has lot more inside than custom another thing is the seats are very low in new silverados….I am 6ft and so glad I have power seats...
  16. exactly....think about what your buying b4 you sign papers.....lifts are super easy to do and that's all your paying GM for! they even sell the kit for 1k …..after a month the whole new truck thing wears off and now you have to own what you bought, and those payments don't stop regardless
  17. vinyl wrap the friggen grill or spend thousands upgrading interior....orange is an odd choice for any make or brand. the custom TB is bad choice for the money(almost bought one)….its just common sense...
  18. yeah I have fog lights though rarely use them, I regret not getting bucket seats (I miss not having console) I will never buy another truck without heated seats/wheel, amazing Z71 TB uses different rancho setup than other Z71 pkgs. but shocks are an easy fix on any truck....I wouldn't let that be a factor especially if I could save more than it would cost to replace.... I wanted LT TB but didn't want to pay crazy MSRP they go for, so ill make my own with my RST....
  19. in aug I got 19 RST 4x4 all star conv 1 msrp was 48k my sell price was 35.6k and I am a nobody, would think they would be cheaper by now...….lots of factors go into why they do what they do.....could be sitting on lot for along time, just make offers and keep shopping and that Z71 suspension has lot of haters, the TB uses different ranchos that are suppose to be better....Z71 does have 2spd transfer case if you want it but I wouldn't buy Z71 for suspension.....suspension is easy fix
  20. lol, so true.....get interior options you want from dealer always I bought the RST 4x4 over the custom TB exactly for reasons you stated above....they were exactly same price....a lift is easily done by anyone....easy way to get LT TB for way way less money
  21. so now you have nav without having to use phone?.....what was total cost?
  22. exactly.....if you do something every day your bound to get good at doing it.....vs someone who does it once every few or five years....this time when I bought I did everything separate and thru emails and texts, never even went to dealer cept to pick up truck on agreed price.....by far the easiest way imo....It was on my time not their time, and I wasn't stuck at their dealership haggling 4 hours.....he cant see me, doesn't know if I have another deal, cant see my expressions.....takes emotion completely out of equation...I researched about 2 months but once I decided this all took about a week but I was talking to multiple dealers at same time so it is only way to buy for me..... of course they moved numbers around and eventually tried to get an extra $1500 night b4 I went in but I caught it, and it was reversed back to our original agreement but fact I was at home, work, or play while this was happening was way better than being at dealership going thru all of this... I went to 3 dealerships total just to see trucks physically in person....spent all of 30 min at all 3
  23. the clusters are totally different and right side steering wheel controls control the cluster along with phone, paddles behind adjust radio
  24. insane.....2020 and they making record profits off of trucks but cant throw in a simple feature... its our fault for purchasing these ridiculously overpriced vehicles tho, supply and demand....not there to make friends only to buy truck I want for absolute lowest price I can get because your already screwing me anyway, lol
  25. look at thread below yours with 3' RC lift by chris walker
