  1. cant go wrong with BFG....my neighbor has the cooper ill have to ask
  2. I don't understand why these UCA cost so much, know theyre better and stronger but still some are $800 for pair....I just don't see why theyre so much...fabricating tubular steel doesn't cost that much, ball joints and bushings cost nothing.....you can get aftrmrkt OEM ones for nothing, not as strong but 4-5 times the cost?
  3. what a friggen nightmare, I be so pissed to waste all that money on different rims after I already bought some....extra labor costs, etc...damn, really have to be careful and research b4 you do this stuff...
  4. love the new look of T1....cant stay same forever, best looking truck on market imo, I also love column shifter, grew up with trucks my whole life and I don't want a dial like sports car....brake pedal offset of gas pedal needs to go or be minimized, its 3 or 4 inches closer to driver than gas and makes it tough to get comfy with both.....and steering wheel needs to be adjustable separate from column....layout of info and dash panel is just too flat and vertical, but very easy to use and comfortable.....and if you buy at right time you can still get decent deal even though they are crazy expensive..... 2021 maybe interior update but think body will stay same I love my 2019 still, just few minor tweaks be nice
  5. yeah tha truck doesn't look good, it needs a different body style to go along with motor and decent suspension, even raptor doesn't have great suspension, but looks of truck is definetly a must.....while I have new gen Silverado its not an easy truck to make good looking and proportionate....the body is just so massive and tall, but not impossible different grill (even custom trim has better looking offroad appearance) and wider fenders, along with lift, decent suspension (not rancho) and similar tires as raptor.....they can do it though, idk if they will dodge rebel while beautiful inside looks absolutely like garbage on outside, same with power wagon maybe king edition, since everyone else is running fox, lol
  6. how high is your lift and how do those kings ride? EDIT: just seen your reply to another....how did you get 3in on kings? do the use a spacer with adjustable nut or is it all done with just adjustable nut?.... not only does it look mean but you can smash thru some pretty serious shit.....very proper, if your gonna do it get the performance out it as well!
  7. JBA UCA are nice as you can remove just ball joint (easily) and replace that only.....zerk fittings on ball and bushings as well and aren't crazy expensive..... I would do a UCA with anything 2in and over
  8. I don't understand why concern for spending money on correct parts to keep front end happy and live a long life......these are $50-60k vehicles.....do it right or leave it be, I would anyway
  9. denali reg cab 6,2l with 8ft box, lol......be sick
  10. yeah I know lift kills MPG....I live on beach in so cal.....3.23 is stock gearing isn't it, believe I have same.....maybe gas is better out there idk
  11. that's why some have tapered block I bet....those blocks look so wrong when there big, I know its fine but just looks so 'wonky'.....is there leaf spring kit that will do same job as block?.....I know you can get 2 or 3 inches out of deaver spring but was wondering about 4 or 6 inches......I wont ever go that high for practical reasons was just curious
  12. that's crazy......absolute best I have seen is 19 on stock 4x4 RST with stock tires and body height.....why do you suppose your getting that MPG?....I only have 5k miles on my truck, did you see better gains after some miles racked on motor.....and how is your calculation measured, by cluster info that it gives?.....
  13. bit expensive for me.....my whole king suspension front, rear, and UCA will be same cost as Mazulla fronts only.....idk if theyre throwing a spacer in them....superlift also offers a 3inch king coilover conversion, again idk how they are achieving it....I think kings will go up to 3" but ride wont be same is what Ben said, not 100% sure tho…..and ride performance is more important than another 1/2 inch....if I can get it fine but not totally necessary once I get kit installed tho ill post some pics as you don't see many on here with king or fox setup
  14. you were getting 22-27 mpg on a 5.3l?....how is that possible, seen 18-19 max on mine, havnt taken any long trips yet so only city freeways
  15. you have a very nice setup!..how did you get 3in in front from kings? am going with filthy motorsports custom valved slightly extended kings 2.5 on JBA uca but was advised against raising kings to 3 inches...….everything ive seen is 2.5 inches max.... rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  16. it would be exactly a LTZ trail boss only probably same cost or cheaper than LT version, lol
  17. but its not, the 5'7 is shorty....hard to find even std boxes on trucks as 95% are shortys now.....reg cab at least offers an 8ft, you have to get 2500HD to get one otherwise
  18. I was gonna put a trail boss sticker on my RST after I lifted it with kings, lol....just so some dude driving by would recognize silverados and wonder how I got an RST trail boss...but decided against it.....have just stk 4x4 on and its fine, I don't mind stock badging
  19. am sure they all good, common sense if your in mud and snow a lot use M/T and if its more hwy and some snow or mud an A/T.....also look at what you see others in your area using.....I seriously doubt one is far superior, tho I will never use another Goodyear tire based on 2 bad experiences ( not performance related).....doesn't mean they are bad just wont do it again....got 90k out KO2 las time and sure toyo and nitto are similar...…whatever floats your boat and you get deal on...I would go bf Goodrich again as I have had good luck and like way they look..... general, falken, etc list goes on and on....but one outshining another in a drastic way, nah....pretty competitive market
  20. even the 2in kit from GM comes with new cv axles I believe....idk 4 in seems a stretch, if goin offroad anyways....or maybe just angle idk
  21. why no diff in 4in?.....4inches is 4inches idk why 2019 would be any different, anything will work for lil while but is there an engineering reason for this?...….you can do 6inches and truck will drive down road but later is when run into problems
  22. they all look same no matter what kit ( 2in is 2in and 4in is 4in), its ride quality and ability to go offroad that seperates em
  23. almost bought reg cab ans woulda been my first. but I need bed space so woulda been 8ft bed...….fortunetly my dog is still with me so had to go with dbl cab , after she gone I have no need for it so I bought it for her, no regrets....she wont make it another year and ill have this truck far byond but that's totally ok.....you have to get reg cab or 2500 HD to get 8ft bed.....trucks have gotten so big, I live at beach where space is premium so reg cab 8ft is same as my dbl cab 6'6'' bed...…...and it was tough to find a std bed truck....95 % of all trucks sold are short beds( never used to be such a thing)…...anyways just get std bed in reg cab, like a $200 difference and at some point youll appreciate having extra space.....don't think they offer reg cab in short box
  24. do you know what stock spring rate is for 19 silverados?...….700lbs? feels ike it has no dampening in stock shock and springs are doing most of work on stock silverados…. I may just go this route over kings, idk for my purpose eibachs probably be good fit, kings maybe overkill for me...and don't know how much nicer they would be,.plus eibach is only 20min away and can just go there and have em do it....they have good reviews for daily driver with minor offroad use.... what is labor cost generally to have 4 shocks installed.....I could probably do it myself but don't have space
  25. Think 3-3.5 is perfect for these trucks, way it should have come from factory....looks way more balanced and proportionate...
