    I didn't special order a truck but I have been waiting forever for this truck to arrive at a dealership. They have it listed on their website, but the saleswoman says it is "in transit". It has been that way for 3 weeks. What should I do? Is there some place that I can call or look up online to determine where it is in the line? I have a inventory number and VIN if that helps.

    OK cool. Cab is the only factor then? Bed length shouldn't matter?

    I’m looking at buying a set of take off side steps from an AT4 for an LTZ. Same year of manufacture. Are all side steps interchangeable for GM/Chevy trucks? Does it matter on cab size or bed length?

    I've not read anything about the Silverados leaking and have never had one leak on any other vehicle that I have owned. I also barely ever use them when I have them so for me, it isn't worth it unless it happens to come on a vehicle that I really want. Sunroofs, in general, aren't my thing but then again, I live in AK so we don't get a lot of opportunity to use them.

    I am looking at getting an LTZ (non-Z71) with a 3.0 Duramax engine in a crew cab standard bed configuration. I looked for a while online to try to find a door sticker for the payload and towing and can’t find anything close. Does anyone with a similar truck know their numbers or have a picture that they would be willing to share with me? I’m curious to know before I make a drive out to the dealership. Thanks.

    I’ve wondered about that myself. Whether it be paint or vinyl wrap, it would be cool to delete a lot of the chrome on the LTs.

    Seems like they aren't making a whole lot of the diesels. We haven't had a new one come in on delivery since COVID hit.

    I just spoke with a dealer and unfortunately it is not true. Oh well, it's not gonna affect me that much but I thought that it would be a nice bonus.

    The grass isn't necessarily greener over there. My co-worker's <1 week old $50k 4-Runner has a leaky window. I heard him today on hold for 20 minutes with the dealer before someone from service picked up the phone.

    I just spoke with the dealer and he said the same to me. That's fine as I am totally cool with waiting a few months, however, he told me that he was told that anything ordered now, would be far enough back in the queue that it will end up being a 2021 model. FWIW that's not a problem with me, but I thought I would pass it along to anyone else who was curious.

    Thinking about ordering a Chevy. There's only one in my area that is 95% what I want and I just can't get excited about the color no matter how hard I try. Can someone lend some insight on the ordering process and what I should expect? I know production is shut down ATM but I have time wait a few months if necessary.

    Damn I go back and forth so much between the 5.3/8-Speed and the 3.0/10-speed and this post just edges me towards the diesel. I've test drove only the diesel and loved it (probably a mistake to start there, lol), but I was wondering if I should just save the ~3-4 grand that it would cost me to step up to the diesel. I plan keeping this thing 10 years so reliability is a big factor for me.

    I think I saw somewhere that more information is presented on the dash when you enable tow/haul. I think it shows transmission temp as well as engine temp? Someone else with a HC will have to confirm this.

    This is sort of specific, but can someone with a crew cab, standard bed, Z71, 3.0 Duramax please post a picture of their payload and towing sticker on the inside of the driver's door? I know that they are rated to tow 9200lbs. but that is all that I glanced at when I looked at them in person. The showroom is closed so I cannot go see one myself and there is one on the lot near me that I have my eye on.
