  1. How long do you have it started before you jump in. If you jump under 5 minutes of running you're not going to notice it. I have clothes seats in mine, leather will definitely take longer to feel that the heater is on
  2. You can also buy this oil it is GM approved https://www.summitracing.com/parts/mob-125386
  3. Do you park on a hill or at an angle?
  4. No you will not get a CEL during a regen.
  5. Out of curiosity, did they extend engine warranty to the 5 years/100,000 miles with current mileage on your truck or leave it at the mileage when you bought the truck?
  6. I would bring a 2.5 gallon jug to be safe. It will start guzzling DEF with that weight.
  7. You will also see the temperature spike when the truck is in a DPF regen as well
  8. Completely normal. Mine always does it when its cold and usually only does it once every time I drive it when it's a cold engine.
  9. Yes I know there is a lot of info. I personally haven't had issues with mine. I have seen a few were they can't get engine/emission issues resolved. I just wanted to see for us who own one, how many people are having issues since it's a new engine
  10. Want to get a poll together since this is a new engine to see who owns and have had problems with this new engine.
  11. Mine has been solid. I did make sure before I bought it that diesel was relatively similar in price for gas. Here I only pay .05 -.10 a gallon more for gas. This new engine gets about double or better than my Ram did. Only time will tell, but I am satisfied with my purchase. The only thing I had to do was put in rear shocks and I will do the fronts as well. The truck seemed way to unstable with bumps and rail road tracks, it seemed like the rear end was going to give way.
  12. On the right side of the steering wheel. There should be arrows for up, down, right and left. Hit the left one until you see it
  13. My LM2 has been solid with just a little over 5K on the clock. Had a TSB for the shifter but that would be with any Silverado. Gas mileage is great. Last trip I had 520 miles and 3 gallons left on the small 24 gallon tank. Diesel is only .05-.10 more in my area
  14. It doesn't work on our trucks. Only up to 2018
  15. That seems excessive. I have 4500 miles and I have one bar below half on the gauge and I have had the recall done. Unless you are doing a lot of towing
  16. I did just the rears for now. I have the fronts, but I'm waiting for my mechanic to get back to do those. I don't have the tools to remove the spring.
  17. I have had the rears in for 500 miles and it makes a big difference. I don't feel I'm going to lose it on some of the bumps. Still waiting for my mechanic to get back from vacation to get the fronts in.
  18. With COVID-19 it will probably be awhile. Tune will probably be awhile since they are having hard time breaking the encryption on the ECM
  19. I went with Bilstein 5100 series. Won't look back. The stock shocks suck. They don't handle well over bumps at all, I felt completely unsafe. The Bilsteins don't do that
  20. No I purchased from shockwarehouse.com. They were just shipped directly from Bilstein. I'm assuming there were out of stock at shock warehouse and just sent direct
  21. I'm assuming you have a 3.0L duramax? Me personally I wouldn't drive it especially pulling a trailer with that weight. The adding weight could cause the leak to become worse. Plus the leaking could cause the control module to fail unless you redirect the leak. I had an oil leak and immediately stopped driving until they fixed. You never know when the leak could become worse and I wasn't risking it. It sucks with covid, because it seems like it takes forever to get the parts or get the truck fixed.
  22. 24-309516 is what I ordered for the rears
  23. They arrived today. No they didn't but I have an account with ups and ups sent the tracking. They come direct from Bilstein. If you don't have a ups account, I would sign up since it's free and they automatically send you tracking that's linked with the email.
  24. Ordered mine on July 18th. They are supposed to be delivered today
