  1. I use a Faraday box on my kitchen table. The box was bought on ebay.
  2. On my 2020 6.2 AT4 the battery posts looked clean with out any corrosion. The battery posts and clamps had developed a light tarnish between them. I cleaned the posts and clamps with a wire brush. This solved the problem for a couple of months until I needed a new battery. I think the bad connection took a toll on the battery.
  3. After checking on a battery replacement for my 2020 6.2L I decided the factory battery had the best spec's.
  4. I just recently had that same type of problem on my 2020 at4 6.2l. The problem for my truck was the idler pully.
  5. My "2020" 6.2l does not do this.
  6. My 2020 6.2L AT4 has been a great truck for me. The only two problems I've had since new was oxidation on the battery connections and whining noise. The battery connection looked good w/o corrosion, but needed to be polished due to lead oxidation on the terminals. The whining noise was a bad idler pully as discussed on this board. My truck is very low milage but is the most comfortable I've ever owned. I'm a very proud owner and get complements all the time and will not upgrade any time soon. Best of luck finding the right truck.
  7. Thanks for updated info. I'm very interested in to looking at that skid plate.
  8. My 2020 1500 6.2l carbon pro was bought new with the GM cold air induction system and upgraded exhaust. I believe there is a small horse power increase with systems. The truck start up sound is awesome the tones down on warm up.
  9. Got my truck to the dealer today. The problem was the idler pulley coming apart. I was lucky to get the repair done under my extended warranty. Thanks for knowledgeable persons on this site.
  10. Thank You for the reply to my problem. I can do the procedure and repair as needed.again Thank You!!
  11. My 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 6.2L Carbon Pro started to make a loud annoying whining noise last week. My truck just turned 15k miles in 5 years (I'm retired) and started with this problem on start up and driving. I looked into past posts of this problem and only found that it might be the idler pulley and belt. The truck has been serviced every 3k miles and has not had a single problem since new. Has any one had this problem and what was done to resolve the issue.
  12. Only premium I don't want to chance damage to my engine.
  13. I would lean towards the AT4X. But I don't have to choose, I drive the middle of that line now,,A 2020 AT4 6.2 Carbon pro black. The best part it's paid off. Good luck with the right choice for you.
  14. My last two trucks had the 5.3. The truck I chose was the 6.2 in a fully optioned AT4. When I test drove it I knew it was going home with me.
  15. At least they are working with you. Did the Dealer give you a hard time?
  16. I've never seen it on my 2020 carbon pro.
  17. Your Truck is Awesome, but I'm envious of your garage/work shop!!!
  18. My AT4 came with black on a black truck. I was considering powder coating them red to mimic the front tow hooks.
  19. My 2020 AT4 carbon pro made in USA, doesn't leak,,,,,,,, so far!!!
  20. I hope it's not serious and you get back on the road soon. Good luck wit your truck!!
  21. Thanks for the info and pictures.
