  1. Presumably, you mean "Carbon Fiber-look"? Or are there actual CF pieces available from someone?
  2. No problems with the light or power brick popping free under hard braking or bumps?
  3. I like this. Might have to get one. Would be great if they had a version with red or green beam as well.
  4. Me too! BuiltRight Industries has said they're working on GM products, but has been delayed for a while. They do have some universal-fit panels that have some good looking mounting hardware, for the time being. I too like the Valhalla panels for the Colorado. Have you reached out to them regarding GM 1/2-ton options?
  5. Just a fun thread and curious what you've all been using and where you mounted it. I am looking for a durable(preferably metal), bright(500+ lumens) and rechargeable light to keep in my truck. I have a much smaller light I keep on my person, but looking for something a little more robust. Interested in any price point. Would also be interested in any clever spots you've found to mount them, so they can be plugged in charging. Not interested in something I have to remove the batteries from in order to charge. Would also like to hear about any larger, but still portable, lights or lanterns that you may have stores elsewhere in the truck! I have a 2020 AT4 Crew Cab Thanks in advance!
  6. Go big, or go home... https://www.addictivedesertdesigns.com/gmc-sierra-1500-front-bumper-F471403030103 Also, you do realize that lumens aren't always a higher-is-better scenario, right? There is a proper amount of light for a given situation. I doubt very much that even 100,000 lumens would be useful in 99% of them.
  7. I actually don't like the column shifter, but I think I hate the push-button even more. I actually preferred the console shifter in my F-150, though it's kind of a waste of space. Not sure why some think a column shifter is any more or less "truck-worthy", other than for nostalgia purposes. I mean, didn't all cars have them, not just trucks?
  8. Oh, probably, looking at that design. I was only familiar with them because they came up in a search for the new ones. These damn new ones just seem like such a lazy design to me. Then again, I suppose I'm not the target customer for them.
  9. Has anyone seen these yet, or know anything about them? They look pretty interesting, though no doubt will be quite expensive. Always thought the idea of custom brackets for Pelican cases and coolers would be great to have! https://www.pelican.com/us/en/discover/cargo-cases/ Signed up for the email list, so hopefully more will come out soon.
  10. Not hard to color-match a bezel. Especially a bezel that doesn't even match the interior design aesthetic. Honestly, they look like a part that was designed for the previous generation truck that they were too lazy to refresh, though perhaps ironically those trucks actually had very well-integrated upfitter switches. Admittedly, I'm quite picky about such things.
  11. Agreed. Personally, I don't feel like they actually match the interior to the point where they look aftermarket. Nowhere near as well integrated as the Ford Super-Duty ones.
  12. I had a Revolver X4 on the F150 I just traded in. LOVED it! Even got it for around $750 on some random Amazon deal. It’s high on the list for this truck, but I keep reading about figment issues on the MP Tailgate, though I’m can’t seem to understand what the figment issues actually are. Don’t have the CarbonPro. Have always liked Retrax-type, so I’m considering those as well.
  13. Really want one of these, but having a hard time with the price. Is it easy to get a deal on one somewhere? PS, kind of regretting getting the black truck instead of the white!
  14. I've owned a number of different Android phones over the years as well. Most recently a Galaxy S8, for a few months. Could never stand the inconsistency between different manufacturers versions of Android and the subsequent battle to figure out which app or config menu to change the exact same setting. Owning tablets AND phones, this gets to be quite annoying, especially when you switch both out on different cycles close to every year. On that note, swapping an old device with a new one is very clunky and the importing of data can be very hit or miss. On iPhones and iPads it's simply a non-event. I do have a MacBook, though also a ThinkPad, HP ProBook, Microsoft Surface and about 5-6 other desktops, so that really isn't a factor. Also, I can't really think of any ways I even interface my mobile devices with my laptop, outside of Outlook/Exchange. As someone who is quite tech-savvy, having owned smart phone's since the iPaq and old Blackberry days and having owned literally 40+ smart phones(No exaggeration), I am fully capable of figuring out how to use them. I just decided five or six years ago that I no longer wanted to HAVE to learn a new device every time I buy one. I'll save that tinkering for my trucks, computers and guns. I just want my phone to work. Really nothing against Android though, but I've been down that road and simply prefer the iPhone/iPad life. Wireless CarPlay/AndroidAuto NEED to get figured out though. No excuses. I think wireless CarPlay was actually implemented in a recent BMW as well, so it DOES work. Probably just a cost-saving measure by GM. On that note, has anyone used one of these? https://carplay2air.com/?sca_ref=93288.fQQ4Wbgfh0 Want to buy one, but afraid that a simple phone update could make this a paperweight, since I'm assuming it's just cloning the USB connection. Seems as though that could be misinterpreted by the device as a security threat.
  15. Don’t understand on a truck with Bluetooth and WiFi why you still need to plug your phone in... Not that I’d even consider switching, but does AndroidAuto work wirelessly in our trucks yet, or are we both still in the stone ages?
  16. ...broken wings, on a drunken chicken that can’t fly anyway. ?
  17. CarPlay is too locked down. Constantly finding myself using the phone to pick music or find contacts. I like to have it beside the main screen for these tasks. They need to stop with the nanny controls.
  18. Lol To each, their own, but to the guy who commented “cleaaaaaaaan”...WTF?!? Like it or not, it’s anything but clean... on a related note, I do actually like some of these machined molle panels. Especially for the bed and some limited interior use. Haven’t seen anything compatible for our trucks yet though. Would like to see a bracket for the dash cubby from BuiltRight someday...
  19. What is it specifically that's supposed to be so problematic with the MP tailgate that doesn't exist with a standard one? I just don't see the difference.
  20. Been looking at this one for a while now. My planned setup would be this rack with a revolver x4 tonneau mounted underneath that I can still open. Looking to be able to mount a fishing rod tube over the cab with it as needed, but want to be able to pull the whole setup off when I don't need it. Possibly a roof-top tent in the future, though I'm no "overlander"... They make a bunch of other accessories for the F150(and Taco's, of course?), but unfortunately haven't ventured into GM territory much yet. Best part, I think the price is quite reasonable @$750 https://rcimetalworks.com/product/18-adjustable-bed-rack/
  21. Trying to buy wipers for my 2020 AT4, but a lot of the search tools seem to be giving conflicting or incomplete information. I even tried just putting in 2019 Silverado, but no change. Bosch, for instance, says Icon’s aren’t compatible. Piecing together info from different search tools, I’ve seen both 22a & 22oe, but sant seem to figure out what the different is between them. Coming from an F150, it took different wipers for both passenger and driver, so I’m not sure if that is the case here or not. Reading through all the wiper threads, surprisingly no one mentions the part numbers. Probably because everyone just know’s what they are. (Except me!) Anyway, thought maybe it might be helpful to add common 3rd party part numbers to the wiper list for future noob’s like me, if anyone has the info handy to share. Thank you!
  22. Anyone have luck finding part numbers for the power/camera/blindspot mirrors yet? I tried searching a couple VIN’s and haven’t found anything.
  23. Agreed. I’d settle for “GMC” or “Sierra” as well. Anyone know who makes these for GM?
