  1. Have an appointment on Friday morning. Can you share a couple pics so I can see what it looks like?
  2. Did they ask you or just didn’t touch it? Does it look mismatched?
  3. I will definitely be dropping the tailgate and drinking some beers in the driveway. Need the cup holders. Don’t judge me ?
  4. Thanks!!
  5. Got the truck. Measured the gap. 1/4”. I ordered a couple different rubber cords to try to seal it. Will report back how it fits.
  6. So you lost the cup holders? Or are they stamped in the metal?
  7. So the factory sprays over the plastic piece with the cup holders??
  8. We were trying to decide between Satin Steel and Shadow Gray. Went by the dealership to see the colors in person first. We loved Shadow Gray and don’t regret it at all. We had a Wrangler that was Silver before this. Stain Steel was too close to that color.
  9. So question about the spray on bed liners. My truck didn’t have it from the factory. Planned on getting a LineX. Noticed the tailgate has a plastic panel on it. Do they spray over that, take it off or just not touch the tailgate?? How are the ones with the factory bed liner done? Is the tailgate sprayed or does it have the plastic panel??
  10. 2020 LT Trail Boss. Just picked it up late this afternoon. Have a few mods to do but I like to keep pretty close to stock with a few personal touches. Already done: black lugs/wheel locks black emblems and tailgate lettering tri fold bed cover To Do list: shorty antennae spray in bed liner swap out z71 badges with black/red amp bed extender powder coat exhaust tips black still on the fence with front bow tie. Was thinking about doing the black bow tie with red trim.
  11. Here is the timeline on our truck: Built 9/18 (You can gauge when it was built by when it showed up on the dealer website if they didn’t give you a build date) Arrived at the dealership 10/22 Our dealer was awesome. We ordered up the $1,000 in free accessories a couple weeks ago so they would be ready when the truck was delivered. They installed the step bar, bed cover, black lugs/wheel locks, tailgate lettering, black emblems and detailed it up by today. Brought her home a few hours ago
  12. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10171889-9999.pdf Looking at the pictures from the service bulletin I am convinced it is caused by water running down the top gap of the spoiler. It is either getting in the holes or cracks on top of the window. I am willing to bet that if a gasket/weather stripping was put in to prevent water from getting in that gap it would fix the problem. Someone with a leak should try to measure the gap and use something like this. That’s one of the first things I am going to do once ours if finally delivered. 1/16”? 1/8”? 1/4”? https://www.zoro.com/e-james-rubber-cord-neoprene-18-in-dia-10-ft-csneo-18-10/i/G7615781/?recommended=true
  13. Not sure how big the gap is cause still waiting on our truck but something like this might be an easy fix https://www.zoro.com/e-james-rubber-cord-neoprene-18-in-dia-10-ft-csneo-18-10/i/G7615781/?recommended=true
  14. I haven’t read through all 159 pages so sorry if this has been covered but has anyone tried to fill the gap with clear silicone on their own? Seems like you could silicone the “spoiler” gap without taking anything apart to keep water out. Lame to have to do that to a brand new truck but seems like relying on GM/dealers to fix it is a lost cause... Edit: or put in weather stripping???
  15. Still waiting on ours. The dealership has started getting some trucks that were built in the same time frame as ours (mid September) last week but ours hasn’t shown up yet.
  16. So give us an update. What is your setup and how does it tow?? Have a 2020 LT Trail Boss being delivered any day now and have been looking at TTs in same weight class.
  17. My gut feeling is the whole state and/or country is going to take a turn back the other way. I’m praying the truck gets here ASAP before things get bad again. The same day the Chevy chat told me it was in transit from the Mexico port to Ventura port the dealer called us and told us it was in California. Not sure who to believe. Hopefully it arrives before the end of the month.
  18. https://www.donlen.com/production-trucks-gm.html Came across that in my research. No idea if it is accurate or not.
  19. 2 pieces of good news this morning. Got an update that the truck is on its way to the port in Ventura County. Also appears that Ventury County will be dropping down to the red tier as soon as today.
  20. Bummer. Thought all the Covid delays were factory related. Figured once it was built things were good to go. We have a loaner vehicle from family, so not the end of the world.
  21. Any other buyers have any recent delivery times to share or possibly some of the dealers on here? Didn’t order a truck, but threw down a deposit on a truck that is being delivered to a local dealer. The truck was built mid September in Mexico and has been sitting at the port for a couple weeks. Dealership is in central CA. Sold the wife’s Wrangler, so the sooner we can get the truck the better. Thinking mid October at the soonest is the most realistic time frame.
