  1. Not yet. They have been on there for at least a year and still plenty strong. They are sticking to the outside of the oil filter. I don't know what the normal oil temperature is inside the filter but the amount transferred to the magnets would be a little less. The temperature chart I found online says that 176*F is the working temperature for the majority of the brand magnets I am using on my filter. There are some that rated to operate at a higher temperature tolerance. All that being said I expect to find them gone at every oil change so far but have been surprised, they are still sticking very well. I expect them to last for a long time.
  2. Changed the oil and filter this morning and greased the tie rod ends and upper ball joints. Picture of my Fumoto valve in use. Also you can see the rare earth magnets from Home Depot I put on the oil filter.
  3. I don't know what the rcdlr is. Could you enlighten me?
  4. When I got my 2014 it had a shorty antenna on it and radio reception was awful. I thought it was the shorty antenna so I went to the junkyard and pulled a few different types of antennas. These did not fix the FM reception to my liking but, my point to you would be try hitting the local pull a part and seeing if you can grab the part you are looking for. Did anyone ever get FM radio reception better than factory yet with the stock radio?
  5. I had a hard time waiting for the next oil change because I wanted to use my Fumoto valve. I bought about a 3 ft piece of tygon tubing to use with mine so the oil drains right in the pan and I can take the filter off at the same time.
  6. Today the mod that has my attention is the leather wrapped shifter. Can someone post the part number for the leather wrapped shifter that will work a 2014? I have seen some that have the stitching on the front side so it it facing the driver, I do not want that. Thanks, Eddie
  7. I've got Husky in my truck and Weather Tech in my DD. The Husky is WAY better IMO. Heavier and hold their shape.
  8. At the time, my truck was my daily driver. I drove it 82 miles round trip to work. Roughly 15 miles on the interstate and 25 through the country. Mine is a 5.3 Double Cab, no lift, stock sized tires. I've since gotten a daily driver Honda that I use for the trip to work and back. I just got new tires put on last Friday, August of 2019, and I am now at 109, 800 miles. That pic was in April of 2018 with 102k miles.
  9. I have thought about changing plugs, just haven't done it yet. How big of a job was it?
  10. Just thought I would update my post. The last time I updated I had 108k back in March. Here it is the end of July and I still am in the 108k mile range. I have been mostly using my truck around town. My little Honda CRZ has been piling up the miles however. Truck still runs and drives great. It needs a good cleaning from driving it to Nashville and back in late June for an interview in a torrential down pour. Oh and it's paid for now. No car payments!!
  11. 14 5.3 LT Double Cab. 108K miles. No issues with the drive train at all. Had radiator and condenser replaced. Normal maintenance otherwise.
  12. I am surprised by that price. A good surprise.
  13. I am currently around 108k on mine. Still running nicely. I owe a couple more months of payments and it will be paid off. No reason to jump back into more payments just yet. The truck will be around for several more years. Hopefully another 5 would be good with me.
  14. I am at 107k on my 14, so far I have had none of this issue. I hope this is one that does not cost me a wreck!!
  15. I bought mine with just a tick over 40k on it. I bought the extended 100k warranty and it worked out for me also. Radiator and condenser fixed on mine.
  16. Hard to beat driving the company car. I am hoping to keep my truck around another 5 or so years. So driving something else is saving the truck for later.
  17. How many miles are you at now? I am guessing you have gained quite a few more, hopefully trouble free miles. Still in the 107k range but getting close to 108k.
