  2. Are you still interested in 14qts of AMSOIL's ATL?

OK,  Thanks.  Let me research who will change it for me since it does not appear to be DIY friendly.

Not sure where you are but the dealer I got my truck from installed my AMSOIL for $139.  Basically an hour of labor.

  3. Yes and AMSOIL's ATL will work in all three. I used it in all our GM vehicles. In our 6L80 Suburban and in my 2019 Silverado 10L80
  4. I would think it was who ever GM is getting their torque converters from. We all know they go with the lowest bidder.
  5. That is what the dealer would use. It will work fine, just keep it changed out every 30k for best results.
  6. Of course, anything over 100mph he had to have the speed limiter disabled.
  7. 93 here and when I can I mix 40/60 E85 to 93. Runs great and love the exhaust smell.
  8. For both, they are the same.
  9. My reasoning for the Trail Boss axles is if GM has them on the Trail Boss with the 2" lift, then there must be a reason for it. Nobody can tell me why, but when I put them side by side my original axles, you can see the TB axles are a little shorter. Not sure if this has a major effect on the geometry or not so I figured to go that route. Plus if you purchase the GM Trail Boss lift, it comes with the axles. Again, if they were not needed then GM wouldn't offer them. The part number for them is 87862071
  10. I couldn't remember if I posted on this thread. I installed the Eibach Pro 2.0 kit on my 2019 Silverado. It wasn't to bad to accomplish. I also installed Cogneto upper control arms and Trail Boss Axles while I was at it. The ride is so much better and no more bouncy, bouncy over speed bumps or bottoming out. The wheels are Motiv 427MB Gloss Black w/ Machined Face Accents Wheels 18"x 9" with +19 offset. The tires are Toyo Open Country ATIII's 285/70-18. No rubbing at all. I also installed a 2" block in the back. I enjoy driving the truck that much more now that it rides so much better than stock.
  11. It's that time of the year again. Now is the best time to get the underside all coated up to protect from the harsh winter salt. AMSOIL's HD Heavy-Duty Metal Protector is a great product to use to coat the underside of your truck or vehicles of choice. It dries to a wax form and keeps the salt from causing problems. You can use the straw to spray inside frame rails and panels. Contact me to get a quote delivered to your door or you can get it at www.syntheticadvantage.com Here is the information from the Data Sheet. Heavy-Duty Metal Protector Corrosion Inhibitor AMSOIL Heavy-Duty Metal Protector (AMH) is an easy-to-use spray-on product that protects metal surfaces exposed to the damaging effects of salt, moisture or chemical corrosion. 12. Yes, E85 is the way to go. That is why I converted our 2016 Suburban. When the price comes down some I plan on converting my 2019 silverado. E85 has gotten a bad rap. Sure, don't use it in small engines or where it isn't made to go to a point. I do mix it in my Silverado but only at a 40% E85 to 60% premium. Any higher mix and I get a CEL for running lean. I ran my 2002 like that for over 40k miles with no issues. Now if only a better quality diesel fuel was available here like in California. That would go in my diesel Cruze.
  13. It would be nice if they allowed one to set it up like that. Not that it would add much, just a program I'm sure. Dang GM bean counters.
  14. I would think that your filter isn't getting loaded up. Especially if you are doing 5k oil changes with off the shelf synthetics. It is those that don't take care of their vehicle and let the oil changes go out way to far that are having the issues. For your year AMSOIL recommends the Wix 57060 filter. Mainly due to like stated above of filter getting loaded. They do this because of the general public that doesn't take care of their vehicles was having issues with the high quality AMSOIL filter loading up.
  15. It's been great here the past two weeks. Low 80's and high 60's at night but tonight we are getting hit with a cold front. Going down to 48 tonight and only 60 for high tomorrow. Maybe now I can have a fire outside and enjoy it. Only thing is come Tuesday back to current weather for at least the next week. I can handle that.
  16. Sounds like the TC went. It fills up the filter with trash and it can't pump fluid so it acts like it is in neutral. So when you shut it off the filter kind of unclogs and when you start back up you get movement again until it clogs again. This is what happened to our Suburbans 6L80.
  17. Where did you get the chart from? I want to read up on it some more.
  18. Keeping fluid changed in these new transmission is more important than ever. They are not the bullet proof turbo 350/400's of the past. This fluid is what can go in all the new transmissions, AMSOIL's ATL. If anyone is interested in getting some, contact me and I can get you a quote.
  19. Yes it can be used. The extra protection it is designed for the V6 is just that extra for that application. It will work just fine on your 5.3.
  20. It is crazy that they don't want to do the filter change but just do a flush. Good that you had them do that. I'm sure it needed it.
  21. Magnetic. Stays in place. iPhone 13.
  22. I have this and love it. Course Motorsports phone mount.
  23. I changed mine out at 25k. I would have done it sooner, more like at 12k but I was hoping to do it myself but nothing was on YouTube at the time and so I just had the dealer do the full exchange. Cost me $130 and I provided the AMSOIL ATL fluid for them to put in. So at 75K miles I will drop the pan and change the filter and top up the fluid. If you are interested in using AMSOIL, let me know and I can send a quote. They used 14qts to do mine.
  24. Yes, that is getting way to hot for the conditions. Something isn't right. Any chance to take it to another dealership?
