  1. That is cool! I want to see a combine harvester now working out in the field. LOL
  2. Most of my driving is city and so I use manual to keep AFM off and Autostop off. I did make a trip to mom's in PA. 1,000 miles round trip. As for E85 use. The PA trip had it at a 50/50 mix since I can get it up there easily at Sheetz. Down here in NC not so much since only one station has it and it is a major pain to get to the pump. But for the most part the last sample was taken with majority of E85 mixed in and using Manual mode.
  3. I changed out the oil at 500 miles over to AMSOIL OE 0w-20 and then the next oil change from there on out has been the Signature Series 0w-20.
  4. I just drive in L9. Keeps it from going into DFM and auto stop. I do mostly in town driving anyway so not like I need all the gears.
  5. My rear window started to leak. Out of 3/36 so $489 out of my pocket. Called GM about helping out. They actually called back and will let me know. Called twice to make sure of the issue and for me to send them the paperwork on what was done. Fingers crossed that they do help but not holding my breath.
  6. What's that white stuff? LOL
  7. My take is GM isn't going to spend the extra cost to build specific engines for those that don't have DFM . They have a huge supply of DFM parts that will go in the engine and just no electronics to control/turn on the DFM. It would cost more to pick and choose as opposed to just keep things the same down the assembly line and just not have the option active.
  8. I wish there was more availability of E85 around here. Only one place and the pump is tucked back beside the building and hard to get to. Since I plan on keeping my Silverado, I just might have to fork over the $$$$ to convert it to FF. The Suburban already is and loves it.
  9. Here is another example how AMSOIL is on top of the game with these new oils. This in particular the dexos R that the Corvette and Camaro require especially when tracked.
  10. I installed one on our 6L80. I had a friend weld it in place. Works great. Got the plug from Summit Racing. I did order a new pan to have it welded into so that when I dropped my old pan, I had it ready to go up.
  11. You'll be fine. Unless your battery is weak, which is unlikely, it will start and run just fine.
  12. Here is another UOA on my 2019 Silverado 6.2. This is the lowest fuels dilution to date as well as water. But nitration is still too high. Everything else is good. I have been mixing E85 with 93 for this run at a 40/60 mix. I also drive in L9 to keep DFM from activating. Most of my driving is in town so no real need for all ten gears.
  13. How were all the other results. Can you post it up here?
  14. I know not 100% related but maybe your source of fuel? I get the lean code when I mix E85 higher than a 50/50 mix with 93. Maybe the place that you filled up put ethanol in the wrong tank? Just a thought. I wish it wasn't so expensive to convert over to flex fuel on these new trucks. Only cost me $100 to do my 2016 Suburban. If I want to convert my 2019 it is going to be $1,800.
  15. A fuel treatment can be use year round for anti gelling. One option is AMSOIL's All-In-One.

  17. I don't have much knowledge when it comes to CVT's but I did change out the CVT fluid on a friends Nissan. It had 140k miles on it and I switched over to AMSOIL's CVT fluid and it seemed to make it smoother. The individual was driving 75 miles to work every day and would rack up the miles fast since he worked most weekends as well. Talking to other AMSOIL dealers, I have not heard of any issues with anyone using AMSOIL's CVT.
  18. Depending on how bad it is rusted, you can always take it to get bead blasted, then get it back and season it.
  19. Picked this up on sale. The Mount Airy NC Walmart has them for $235 They purchased a bunch of them and I guess since they didn't sell they put them on clearance.
  20. My dealer charged me $130 to exchange out the fluid in my 10sp and I provided the fluid. So that is an option.
  21. To me it is the acoustics of the engine bay area and how the sound is transferred down. That is how I see it anyway.
  22. Sounds like the same thing as mine, which I would think is the injectors.
  23. I’m lucky and the dealer I deal with is dependable and I had them put AMSOIL ATF in my 10sp and I did the differential’s and transfer case.
  24. Seems the big 6 gallon boxes are some what popular from other forums I'm on. I just like that AMSOIL has it in one gallon jugs. Pour two in and done. No messing with qts.
