  1. Well the chrome 6.2L came off the hood and on went the black. Looks much better. Also, the sun shade that came with our 2016 Suburban my wife never used so I tried it in the truck and it covers pretty well. Score one for me. That sun shade is heavy, no cheap plastic foil like in the stores. I also have these black Duramax for sale if anyone is interested. $30 shipped.
  2. I see, well at least now it will look good with no scratches. Hopefully they can match the paint.
  3. Forget that, just bypass that door switch and call it good.
  4. I got the Suburban all cleaned up and waxed. Even cleaned and conditioned the leather interior, pulled the Weathertech's out and scrubbed them. Man what a job, I forgot how big that thing is.
  5. You should be able to find a cable to charge it with the USBC port.
  6. I have noticed that my tach fluctuates up and down about 200 or so RPM when I got cruze locked on. This is on flat level road. So maybe that is the DFM.
  7. My thinking is they got rid of adjustable pedals to save weight. Same with automatic steering wheel adjustment.
  8. Had the front windows tinted and the put the ceramic solar film on the back windows. Now that I think of it, I should of had them do the sun roof with the solar film. Guess I will have to go back. I also changed the oil and filter.
  9. Yes, AMSOIL has Cold Flow and Diesel Recovery for the cold weather. Matter of fact they ran out of the recovery due to this past Polar Vortex.
  10. 02/06/19 2019 Silverado CC standard bed 6.2l 2 gallons of AMSOIL OE 0w-20 PF63E oil filter 577 total miles 98% OLM Just my usual early oil change that I do on all my new vehicles.
  11. Same here, just have to remember to get rid of the SD card.
  12. I wonder if the new ATF fluid that just came out here in January will fix your shudder like in the trucks. I would think so. It is an easy fix for sure.
  13. I got this one YI. I got it when Amazon had it down to $25. I have another one in my Cruze. The fuse I hooked it to turns off the power as soon as you turn off the vehicle. My wife wouldn't want to deal with having to manually turn it off. I'm looking at getting a Blackvue front and rear for my 2019 with the power backup. Been keeping an eye out on Ebay.
  14. Well I got a dash cam installed in the wife's 2106 Suburban. I was scared at first that I was going to break something trying to get the headliner down enough to run the cable, but all worked well. It got up to 70 here today so it was nice out. Didn't even break a sweat. All hooked up and comes on when the vehicle starts.
  15. I guess, just that the porch is open to the outside underneath and the heat isn't trapped like in the attic. Ridge vents and soffit vents are the way to go for the main roof line. It made a huge difference in our house.
  16. First time I have seen vents on a porch roof.
  17. How hard was it to get them off? I looked under neath when I installed my LED license plate lights. Looks kind of tight with my big hands.
  18. Where did you get the gauge pod and how is it hooked up. That is the one thing i would like to see is what gear I'm in. At least the F-150's show what gear you are in on the DIC.
  19. Some quick pictures. I took off the factory steps and put on the off road ones. Looks better to me.
  20. Just curious, but what was the compression in all the other cylinders? Also did you squirt oil in and test again to see if there is any difference? I know this is mind boggling, maybe a slightly bent push rod?
  21. Looks good. With all the black, the emblems in black chrome would have looked good as well.
  22. Didn't he already swap injectors to see if it would change?
  23. That is high. I paid $50 to have my old worn out Flowmaster cut out and weld in the new Magnaflo I brought with me. To show how prices changed, back 10 years ago I did the same thing when my first Flowmaster went bad and they only charged me $25. They know they got you. Stinks but my welding skills suck.
  24. I take it this power source works with the interior lights? As when you open the door they come on and then go out?
