  1. I just use one of these for poaching and hard cooking eggs. When the hard cooked eggs are done, I dunk them in a bowl of ice/water. They peel so easily. Mine holds 8 or 9 eggs, of course it's like 30 or 40 years old too
  2. You might try this: Remove the HVAC/ECAS fuse for a minimum of 10 seconds or disconnect the battery and touch the 2 cable ends together Re-install the HVAC/ECAS fuse or re-connect battery cables Turn key on, but do not start. Make no adjustments to HVAC controls at this time. Just let it do it's thing. Airflow may change from vent to vent Wait 40 seconds for the HVAC control module and actuators to re-calibrate. I've always had the best luck at this point by turning key off. Removing key and closing the door. (Signals the BCM of a completed driving cycle) Then climb in in, start and drive.
  3. Welcome
  4. Always look at water pump, water pump gaskets and any hose connection for leakage or signs/clues of a leak that has dried up. Mineral deposits etc...... left behind
  5. Welcome
  6. Btw, if you contact them like I did several years back when one of their sales guys tried to "gift" several cases for our fleet of trucks, this is what I got.... Just copy/paste answer. Even the sales guy couldn't/wouldn't produce anything. We sent him packing. I've seen nothing from K&N that impresses me enough to consider using their products
  7. I have read the thread and the numerous other threads on this subject, the post wasn't for you anyway. So move on if you don't like humor.

  11. you're talking about this, correct?
  12. I'd be checking all the body grounds, the battery cables/connections and the battery would be load tested
  13. Plenty of TP and paper towels here. Also Lysol wipes and similar brands are in stock with no limits. Disinfectant spray is a little tougher to find. I've barely touched the stuff I bought in the beginning when it comes to sprays, wipes, etc. I've just stuck with hand sanitizer and masks
  14. If you go with Hulu plus, I believe, you can get your local channels. Cutting the cord is dependent upon the learning ability of the person to navigate to channels a new way. I could never cut the cord for my 87 y.o. mom. She has trouble at times using a Tivo.
  15. On '04 is on the ass end of the tank for the part shown above
  16. ^^^+1 Also fuel filter been replaced?
  17. I haven't heard about an aluminum shortage, but do know that the sugar replacement ingredients are in shorter supply. Plenty of 'luminum cans around here, just low amounts of Dr. Pepper/Pepsi products that contain artificial sweetener

  19. And you could play Chess or Checkers on it.
  20. Can you access all other forums? Forum link Try this link to an individual post in the section
  21. One thing to check is the leak down fuel pressure after you turn the key off. There's a check valve on the fuel pump that keeps fuel in the line. If it fails then each time you turn the key on you have to pressurize the entire system. Does it do it every time you start it? Generally first start of day? iirc, do the key on, key off pressure test and observe the reading. After key off of it drops more than 5 psi in minute you've got an issue. Either a leaking check valve on the pump or an injector leaking
