  1. Anyone got a preference for which network coverage they like better?
  2. I always put a little dab of anti-seize on the threads
  3. Has anyone been accosted yet by the Wall-E-unit that roams the store, lighting up aisles like the face of the sun? (exaggeration) Why not adapt this to sterilize aisles, if they haven't already?
  4. Soak it in Kroil, PB Blaster, etc. Can't hurt. I'd use this on the impact. 1/2" to 3/8". I could see snapping your adapter
  5. ^^^ +1
  6. Welcome
  7. But the freeway MPG would be good the if you drove it like Al Cowling drove the Bronco.
  8. Do the new Broncos come with an O.J. Simpson action figure? Maybe as an option?
  9. A few things off the top of my head... Have you double checked the temps you're seeing on the gauge? Are the side panels in place on either side of radiator.? These help direct air to condenser/radiator. Have you checked the condenser for plugging. If it's blocked, airflow through your radiator is diminished When you replaced radiator, did you go back with same size or install something larger with more rows of tubes, increasing the cooling capacity? Edit: You might want to follow this thread too. https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/241011-04-sierra-engine-cooling-assistance/?tab=comments#comment-2436539

  11. Unless they're on an autonomous vehicle. :
  12. Stay away from stop leak, unless you like further problems. Repair properly, by replacing the condenser, Vacuum the system. Install the proper amount of refrigerant. Oh, I'd replace the accumulator/drier too
  13. No finished pics of your work?
  14. As suggested above, check radiator fins and condenser fins for blockages. Check for bent fins. Also make sure air that goes in the front is not bypassing or going around the radiator. There are some filler panels at the ends If you have a trans cooler mounted directly in front of condenser/radiator, that will increase the heat load going through the radiator. I don't experience your issues here in Tx. My idle is slightly higher though due to my tune. iirc around 600 rpm or so. Sitting still for extended periods of time in high heat, my trans temps do get a bit higher than normal. I run an auxiliary cooler. Normally temp is only 40-50 degrees above ambient, parked it gets a tad higher
  15. Well I was wrong..... ACD 467513 is the part number and they have been discontinued. The last 2 I bought were about 6 years ago. I did find this for ya' Modifying new valve to work Rockauto has a kit, appears to be out of stock at the moment. Standard parts FV5 is the valve. FV5K is the kit number. Consists of harness plug and a DPST switch as noted by the poster above. Pretty good info and diagrams there. Also on Rockauto if you click on the "info button" beside the FV5K part, you will see 3 different wiring diagrams to help you
  16. They have it in stores. Bottom of Rack. Maybe your store just hasn't received it yet
  17. The single wire, version is still out there. I'll see if I can find the part number for ya. Rockauto used to have them but they seemed to drop them. But yes you should be able to use what you describe. You would need to figure out which wire is power and which is ground. The old single wire grounded through the body mount. It may take me a bit.
  18. Maybe this thread will offer ideas https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/219698-wireless-charging-upgrade/
  19. Welcome
  20. Mileage is stored in the cluster.
  21. What vehicle?
  22. 15 minutes from now someone else will produce a study saying just the opposite. That's been one of the issues throughout this. The info keeps changing and the public loses faith in information. Like the boy who cried "wolf". Only now that the numbers are climbing again, hopefully what needs to be done will finally set in with these people. What a shock, many of our protestors are sick now and of course they've already spread it to their families. That's where a huge portion of our double digit numbers are coming from. Couple that with Memorial Day weekend get-togethers TV interviewed some dick on TV over the weekend, his quote...."if I catch it, I'll get over it". He's participating in a huge drinking party out at the lake, where no one in sight is wearing a mask nor distancing. In fact their were plenty of bodily fluids being exchanged.
  23. Pennzoil Plat or Ultra Plat Mobil 1 Amsoil just to name a few. No particular order Actually you could blindfold yourself while in Wally on the oil aisle and grab any synthetic brand off the shelf and be ok. imo If you also are buying trans fluid and diff, I'd lean towards Amsoil
