  1. Every OCD-affected person on the forum should be installing a F107N Fumoto valve right now so that swapping out wrong viscosity oil won't be a problem in the future.
  2. Another great thing about this mod is that you don't have to worry about a Formosa termite infestation like you do with the "paint stick" mod!
  3. I'm an o-l-d man and I really don't worry about mileage any more. Good, cheap entertainment and a lot cheaper per gallon than bottled water!
  4. You ain't drivin' it like you stole it are you? More right foot = more sprayed gas. But it sho' do sound good!
  5. The tab layout is shown in the secondary picture found in the ebuy-referenced listing. Get the one-tab one and cut your own notch with the Dremel. After all, if a 75 year old modder can do it...………...
  6. Now you're cooking with gas!!! Good results.
  7. I have been called by many names beginning with "s...…."
  8. Like dear old Dad said, "The lessons YOU pay for are the ones you will learn the most from".
  9. I try not to think anymore because I have been accused of over-thinking a problem and possible solutions. Maybe a support group is necessary. Anybody else interested?
  10. I said, "..should be..", but it's too early to have a valid opinion. You could be on to something. Or not. Waiting for results, good or bad.
  11. This should be good...….!
  12. All I gotta say is,...……….. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkPq3UaCLpg
  13. When a solution sounds too simple, there usually is someone willing to complicate it.
  14. Bumped just because.
  15. 6/25/19 to 7/01/19. Round trip from MS to Indy and back. 1521 miles/ 22.1 mpg. The Cheap-@$$ Catch Can caught this. Do you REALLY want this crap in your intake?
  16. "She's got the look,...."
  17. Everything I used is shown in the photo. The cheezegrater and sandpaper block smooved it all out. By the way, that mod saved me some bucks the other day when I pulled up to one of those downtown gutter curbs and still dragged a little.
  18. Got tired of oiling down the side of my engine with spillover from 5 qt jugs. A little work with a Dremel tool to cut another tab path and a nice steady place for my funnel. You have two tabs at the 12 and 6 positions. Have to cut a new path for the 12 in the new fill tube. https://www.ebay.com/itm/97-09-LS1-LS6-LS2-LQ9-LQ4-Valve-Cover-Oil-Filler-Tube-Extension-NEW-GM-1-TAB/381504135243?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20160323102634%26meid%3D0c63fdea0c464d4fba7774bd308d8dde%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D381503368459%26itm%3D381504135243&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1
  19. Check the orientation of the two locking tabs inside the oil fill hole. If they are at 12 and 6, these filler necks will not sit vertically when installed. If the tabs are at 3 and 9 as shown in this illustration, they'll work. https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-14-LS3-L99-Valve-Cover-Oil-Filler-Tube-Extension-NEW-GM-2-TAB/131665757630?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 On my 2016 Tahoe the tabs are at 12 and 6.
  20. Shoot! I cut mine three times and it's still too short.
  21. If you're getting old and feeble like me, slap one of these in your valve cover and get all of that oil inside the engine rather than rust-protecting the side of it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-14-LS3-L99-Valve-Cover-Oil-Filler-Tube-Extension-NEW-GM-2-TAB/131665757630?hash=item1ea7e405be:g:8I0AAOSwd0BV7Cwm By the way, check to see if the tabs in your valve cover are at the 3 and 9 positions. If they are at 12 and 6, then you'll end up 90 degrees out of phase. Don't ask how I know. (You "digital" people won't be able to figure this out!)
  22. Packaging must be why it costs more, then.
