Im back on this forum after a long hiatus. Thinking about finally replacing my 2014 Sierra 5.3 and googled "2022 sierra problems". This thread came up. I bought a new 2013 Sierra with a 6.2, at 30k miles the engine piled up. Lifters. Traded it on my current 2014. at 80k miles, engine piled up, lifters, cam, etc etc etc. It has since been good aside from the torque converter piling up twice, first time at 161,000 km, 1000 km out of warranty, happened on my drive home from work which was 1200 km. Second time, 100k km later, it did it again but needed a transmission rebuild/upgrade(i upgraded the trash factory torque converter). It now has 225k miles. My last 6 trucks were GM and I'm a bit dismayed they still have the same lifter problems.

Took this thing for a test tow today, seems okay, but I'm new to towing. Picking the trailer up on Saturday. 5500 lbs dry.

I LOVE this idea. I basically live out of a suitcase, and my truck.. Would be awesome to be able to crash in the back with a heater. How did you run the wiring for the plug cluster in the bed? My 2007 leaked from the onstar antenna, and the sunroof, and some other seal I can't remember. Good to see they addressed the issue. I didn't get a sunroof this time around. Nothing I can do about that antenna, but will lose it, if it starts leaking.

This actually went away on mine. Perhaps it is just moisture inside from when they were built..

There are two fuel pumps in these? Like a lift pump and injection pump on a diesel?

Okay well that narrows it down. Mine is an All Terrain, and has the aluminum ones.

Mine vibrates under heavy acceleration. It's worse with the 33's on it. My '13 6.2 Sierra did the same thing. They said it was the motor mounts, and to let them know if it gets worse. Has anyone else had this type of vibration?

Simple solution to AFM clunking when driving around the city.... Drive in 5th. I never had it in 6th, unless I'm on the highway. It's an absolute dog when I try driving it in "D" in the city.

There is no difference that I know of, no. The only thing would be if it has aluminum control arms. But I think they all do now, unlike older models.

I did a 2.5 level to get mine in there. They rub a bit when the wheel is cranked.

I was hesitant to put them on now, instead of the fall. But the factory tires were garbage. I'd either get stuck, or get a flat before I got new tires. I can find myself on some ratty ass roads for work in the summer.
