  1. Is there a way to do this with HPT?
  2. Here is where I stand but need some opinions. I currently have the stock Ranchos and a 2" level (below the shock only). I can: 1. Keep the level, and install 5100s on the bottom level. The problem with this is the 5100 is a longer shock so coupling this with the level is no bueno. 2. Lose the level and install 5100s on the highest level. This will give me about the same height, but having the shocks at the highest level preloads the springs, giving me a worse ride. 3. Keep the level and install 4600s. This will give me the same height and an improved ride with the Bilsteins over the Ranchos. Choice 3 seems obvious to me but am I thinking choice 2 correctly? Does the ride get worse as you raise the spring bases up? I've read on here that it does but since the whole point of raising the spring bases is to raise the truck, I'd think the spring should have the same preload on it no matter the level. Halp?
  3. Any one have an HP Tuners file for a 2016? I've been working on mine for several weeks now and would like to compare mine to another. I'm just wondering what everyone did to lower TM, change shift points, increase power, etc.
  4. 2016 Z71 SLT 4wd Sierra (mine) - Stamped steel 2016 SLT 2wd Sierra (test drove) - Cast steel
  5. I test drove a 2016 today and it had a noticeable vibration at any speed above 40mph. The odometer had 4 miles on it and it's build date was in February, so I'm hoping it's just from flat spots or out of balance tires from sitting so long. I asked if they could rebalance them or swap the tires with another truck on the lot, and I will re-test drive. We'll see what they do. The 8-speed shifted fine though from any speed or gear.
  6. Anyone have pics of a before and after of someone that started with the 2" level, then added the top spacer to go to 2.5"? I'm trying to determine how noticeable the extra 0.5" is. I already have the parts for the 2", but I'd have to order the top spacer so I'm wondering if it's worth it.
  7. Instead of digging through 57 pages, I'm hoping someone can answer my question. I'm thinking about picking up a 2016 w/ the 8-speed. I have HPT with an available license. Are there any components that I won't be able to edit with the tune? Is the 8-speed fully supported with the newest version of HPT?
  8. Following this thread since I will be purchasing a Sierra this summer. I'm not a headlight expert, but it seems the BCM reflash will be the key to getting the supposed "30% increase" in light output. No bulb alone is going to get you close to that. To those that get this upgrade, please post your results. This headlight issue has been the biggest reason why I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
  9. I'm guessing his post is laced with heavy doses of sarcasm. It looks like they painted the pumpkin and that's about it. Great job GM.
  10. So is it a 2.5" lift in the front and a 2" lift in the back, thus making it level? The website is confusing.
