  1. Welcome to my build! Started with a 2019 Silverado 1500 LTZ 4wd 5.3L, which I bought with 9k miles on her in August of 2020. Got a crazy good deal on it, justified me driving to Georgia from Houston to pick it up. It even came with the Ranch Hand front bumper on it already, other than that she was stock. Little bit of background on my past trucks, I've been fortunate to own quite a few: 07 JK Wrangler, 08 Silverado 1500 LT Z71, 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Z71, 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT w/ 6.2L, 2016 Denali 2500 Duramax, 2017 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71, and finally my 2019 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71. I also have my 2015 ZL1 Camaro for a little bit of fun on the side, my wife has gone off to German side and is rocking her Porsche Cayenne. So here's the current list of mods: 4" Zone Lift kit w/ Fox rear shocks 35x11.50's Nitto Terra Grapplers on stock 20's Front and back Ranch Hand bumpers Hooker Blackheart Cat-back exhaust utilizing factory dual tips K&N Series 63 cold air intake Rough Country Automatic drop down steps Camlocker Tool box Front windows tinted to match back factory tint Front windshield tint strip Chevy All-Weather floor liners Stubby antenna Just went on a shopping spree of sorts and this is what I've got on order: Boost auto parts auto fog mod Putco Blade LED Tailgate Light Bar w/ Putco wiring harness All LED bulbs; replacing turn signals, license plate lights, and reverse lights. And the GRAND finale, King 2.5 PRS coilovers The list of things to come in the near future: High Country cluster from White Audio and Media, had their Tahoe cluster in my 2017 and it was fantastic! Waiting to order the rear King Resi PRS shocks until my checkbook bounces back a little bit. Lol Going to be putting on several LED light bars and maybe a pod or two, going to do my best to blend them into the Ranch Hands and make them as non conspicuous as possible. I'm strongly considering doing a Dyno tune w/ Kooks long tubes as well. Going to be doing ceramic tint all the way around. Limo on back windows and back glass, 15% on front windows, and 35% on the front windshield. I've got a drop in plastic bed liner that drives me crazy, so I'll more than likely go ahead and get the bed sprayed. Things I'm considering: Looking into changing up the rims and trying to clear 37's when the time comes for new tires. Blacking out the badges? Still not sold on this one... Turbo or a supercharger kit? This one would be way down the line though. Anything else that catches my attention, let me know if you can come up with anything! Here is the truck from stock:
  2. Hey guys I know there are threads out there for it but I have looked and can't seem to narrow it down. I currently have a 2016 GMC Sierra All Terrain leveled 2.5". I am looking at upgrading to a Zone 4.5" and running bigger tires on my stock 20" All Terrain wheels. The question I have though is about the shocks. I want to upgrade my shocks right now, looking at the bilsteins. But my question is if I bought the bilstein (5100's) would I be able to run those on the 2.5" level and the 4.5" lift? I appreciate any help and information! Pictures or experience with either setup or future setup is helpful as well!
  3. Starting off I am sure there are threads that answer these questions but I had trouble finding answers, and it’s my first time lifting a truck so trying to be thorough. So I have my 2018 1500 Z71 CCSB that once my warranty runs out I plan to lift it, leaving stock till that day, I’ve been looking at BDS lifts and Zone, the 6” and 6.5” is the height I want to go with. Zone’s 6.5” kit from what I’ve learned is a maxed out 4.5” kit basically. BDS 6” has either the coil over package or the strut spacer package I believe, I have stamped steel control arms for UCA, LCA I can’t remember exactly and will check when I get home. My questions are based toward the BDS option as I do not want to use the zone unless I have to My questions are is it worth it to get the coil over system vs the kit without coil overs, because that’s almost 1700$ more? What kind of installation costs is it typically for a installation? Has anyone had issues since they installed their kit? if I go with the coil overs, should I do the base set of coilovers or the ones with DSC? Id like to have 4WP install the kit so I could have their warranty on the install along with the BDS lifetime warranty, but not sure if they would do the install (I haven’t called them to see about this yet) I’m going to use the custom offsets site to see what wheel/tire combos I can run but if y’all have pictures that would be awesome to see to get a ballpark
  4. There is probably already a thread for this but I could not find exactly what I was looking for. I am thinking about installing a 3.5"-4.5" Zone lift on my 2016 GMC Sierra All Terrain. I was wondering if anyone else has done this already and has pictures or their setup so I can get an idea. Also a link of where you bought it. I saw a lot of people said a 33" tire looks small and to run a 35", any opinions?
  5. There is thread on this forum for suspension lifts, but not body lifts. Also noticing a lot of people posting up requesting for pictures, info, etc. So lets get a thread started for body lifts. Remember to post the brand and size also!!! Preferably pictures of the sides, front, and rear, GO!!!
  6. Hey everyone, So tomorrow I will be getting my truck lifted with the 4.5 inch Zone lift on my 2014 Silverado. The tires are basically 32s. Next week my family and I plan on taking the truck on a road trip for Thanksgiving (approximately 1000 miles). I was wondering if this was ok to do with a newly lifted truck and all? Just want to be sure we will be safe on such a long road trip. Is there anything that I should keep in mind or be sure to do during the drive or after we get to our destination? Will we be ok to drive all the way there without having to re-torque anything? Thanks guys
  7. Just had a 1.5" Zone body lift added to my Rough Country 2.5" level kit on my 17 Silverado. Love the look of it even with the stock OEM wheels and tires. Well worth it for anyone considering doing this. Ended up being cheaper all together than the 4.5" Zone suspension lift but very similar in stance height. Sorry only photo I have right now will have some soon when I can clean off the truck.
  8. Hey guys, Just wanted to see what y'all thought about this price I've been quoted for a 6.5" Zone Lift for my 2015 Silverado 1500, 20x10 -12 offset Maverick Wheels and 35x12.5 Cooper S/T Maxx Tires. Total cost for all of it including mounting / balancing tires, shipping costs, and lug nuts all for $3700 even. Brand NEW! Let me know what yall think. Should I pull the trigger?
  9. I have a new zone 6.5 inch suspension lift for 2014-2017 silverado and sierra 1500 4x4. the lift is new in boxes with nitrogen shocks never installed. prefer to sale but would be willing to trade for a 4.5 inch zone lift or a 4 inch bds lift.
  10. Forum lurker turned forum FNG, so first question posted. It seems that some are able to do a 6" lift and run 35x12.5's without having to trim anything while others end up hacking the bumper and fender liner. I am going with a simple Zone 6" kit. The "Important Notes!" say "To reduce trimming on new body style HD's 20" wheel with 5 3/4" backspacing recommended." This has me confused since the wheel and tire sizing chart lists different wheel options with a max tire of 35x12.5. What gives - are they saying that what I really need is 5.75 back spacing but the only way I am getting it is with a 20" wheel? Seems odd any way I look at it. http://zoneoffroad.com/zone-offroad-products-5-6in-suspension-lift-kit-chevy-gmc-avalanche-pickup-suburban-yukon/c4 My plan is to run 35x12.5 Pro Comp AT Sport tires on 18x9 0 Pro Comp Series 32 wheels, which is about 5.25" back spacing. The "actual" tire size according to Pro Comp is 34.6" high, 11.8" section width, and 9.7" tread width. Do you think they are going to require me to trim the bumper and/or fender liner?
