For any that  don't know, he is generally the source for the lowest SHIPPED cost of GM parts.

 

He said he is getting swamped by people calling for part numbers and prices (not purchases).

 

Please check the part number lists for part numbers.  I will try to assemble some numbers and approx price from Dal (not guarunteed, because we know prices change often).  I have sent him VIN numbers for a Sierra 1500,1500HD,2500HD,and C3 Denali.  I have requested part numbers,prices, and shipping costs for all GM mods that I could think of.  Please reply to this post for answers.

 

When I get this info, I will request it be added to the site features.

BTW, he did not mention any forum or list specifically, he mentioned that all makes have drastically increased information requests.

I emailed him about info on buying a tonneau cover.  COuldnt do it they dont ship those.  He got back to me within a day which was nice

Who is Dal and what is Van Devere.  Is this an on-line source for parts?  Is there an internet address?  Thanks.

Dal is a guy that works for a GM dealership as their parts manager.  For several years now, he has been offering cost +10% (I think/approximate) on GM parts via phone or e-mail.

 

He is a great guy to deal with.  He "goes to bat" for his customers to get good prices.  He was "let go" from his last position because he didn't support their raising of prices.  He has saved me THOUSANDS over the past few years.

I've heard of Dal on 5 or 6 sites now....  It's amazing that most GM guys on the internet know the parts guy at a dealer in Ohio by first name only.
