Window Switches

Is the lt/slt switch the one that has the auto-fold button in it? I know they come with or without the heated part, but says nothing about the folding. If anyone has a part # it would help.

What kind of mirrors do you have? The switch on the SLT does have the pwr fld if you have the DL3 mirrors w/ turn signals and so on. On the LT or SLE it depends on what kind of mirror you have. I have an LT with pwr fld. Are you looking to upgrade or someting?

yes, the dl3 mirrors are on the way, and was wondering if I would be able to put the switch in on the drivers side to make them fold and what not. didn't know if that switch would fit in the sle or not (knowing I would have to get a different trim for it)

Well there is a problem, sadly you cant just swap out the switch. The harnesses in the door are completly different for trucks with DL3 & DL8 mirrors. You can only obtain the signals, as for any other features they will not work. The only way to upgrade if you have the LT/SLE trim truck would be to change out the door harness, both driver & passanger door modules ( window & mirror switches) and have the dealer program the door modules. There are several other threads on this topic. I had tried this along with many others here and it was a no go. The only way to really get the pwr fld option is to buy the truck with it. That is what I liked about the 03-07 classic is that this was a simple plug & play feature. On th NNBS it is not so much. Like I said though if you can just live w/ the signals then you should be good to go.

well i kind of thought i would run into that...the signals were the main thing i was wanting. thanks for your help!
