Cracked Arc Tube On Hid Headlight

I just bought a pair of H.I.D.s and when i recieved them in the package one of the arc tubes thats runs along the outside of the actual bulb was cracked in the middle. Will this be of any concern? Decrease the life of the bulb?

I dont think they would work more than a couple of hours since there is damage. send em back for replacements.

Ya i plugged them in and they worked but I definetly think that it will affect them eventually.

You received defective parts, send them back and get new ones. Just that simple.
