Oil Pressure Sending Unit

My oil pressure gauge on my 2006 GMC Sierra 5.3 B model peggs all the way. Does this mean that the sending unit is bad?

Hey by the way where is the sending unit?

You should check the pressure with a known accurate pressure gauge. If the pressure is OK, go from there.

  Ha!! So GM Customer service, ive already been talking with someone on your email team and there is nothing they can do. So pretty consistent with everyone else’s experience- you can do NOTHING.. worthless emails. Sure glad i have 4 GM cars on our family cuz now its clear you dont care.. Sad and pathetic.
