Rattle Getting Worse... Anybody Experience This?

Hey guys -- I have an 08 GMT-900 w/ about 14,000 miles on it now and I noticed a rattle/vibration of some kind a while back that is starting to get louder. I know there are a bunch of rattle topics around here and I've read through several without finding a match, so if you could help me out I'd appreciate it. Basically, the rattle occurs in two conditions and seems to be located at the center of the vehicle, especially under the floor at center or lower dash. As of now, it happens when i pull up to any stop w/ my foot on the brake. It will start rattling a couple seconds after I am completely stopped and will go away when i hit the gas. Now that is has gotten a bit louder, I notice it when I hit the gas very lightly when I am coasting at just about any speed...but if I hit the gas harder, it immediately goes away. It also only occurs when I am in drive. If I come up to a stop and it's rattling, when I put it in park, it immediately stops. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Any input is much appreciated.

It might be the exhaust heat sheild that is by the transmission. It is known rattle. You need to bend it slightly so it doesn't rattle on anything.

mine does it too. i have narrowed it down to the door lock latches on the inside. i also have a rattle in the speedometer area of the dash and it pisses me off.
