Easiest way is to just add the upper gille, and leave the lower stock. Looks better to me anyhow. If you do the lower, you have to get a new lower bumper assy from what I see.

 

You CAN remove the grill without removing the bumper cover if you are careful and go slow. You have to work it from the metal clip sockets and tilt it forward to release the bumper guard plastic latches. I have done it on 2 trucks.

 

Black GMC emblem, Not that I have seen. You probably could recolor the red if you take the emblem apart, much like they do the bowtie.

It's fully chromed plastic, just like the Denali grill, not chrome strips.

First, I was just being funny. Second, a VMax grill is what is on your VMax truck(Vortec Max -Vmax, get it?). Excuse me, The All-Terrain Grille....

 

Third, I never said the stock grill had chrome tape on it. It is black. The AT grill is nice. I actually like it also if you had read my posts....

 

And fourth, you comment about ignorant was uncalled for. You started it with your post.

 

Lastly.....Oh, never mind...
