hi yall. im a newbie here.

i have a question about a reciever hitch for my truck.

i have a 2008 gmc sierra 1500 crew cab 4x4 with the 4.8L.

i have a reciever hitch from a 2008 gmc 2500 crew cab.

i was wondering if the hitch from the 2500 would fit on my 1500?

It depends on the brand i guess. but I checked the hitchstore.com and they are listing different models numbers for each. Theres no harm in trying to see if it fits the frame.

The 2500 is going to have a 'stronger' frame, so I wouldn't think so. But that's just an opinion, no real experience to back that up.
