Gmt900 Rear Springs

I'm hoping to snag Rich into looking up some part numbers.

 

I'm looking to soften the ride of my truck. I'm wondering if any of the large variations in body/weights of the various standard shortbed thru crewcabs have different rear springs.

And,The rear springs are all the same,EXCEPT if it has the "NHT" MAX Trailering package.

Thanks Don,

I think I recall that thread. I do, indeed, have a NHT.

 

I'm looking into changing the rear springs to a lower spring rate for improved ride quality while empty.

 

For loaded conditions, I'm thinking of putting air bags on the truck. I need to install air bags anyway. My trip to South Dakota pointed out that the truck was sagging a bit and I would like to keep it level. But this is another topic.

Yep,There are only two part number leaf springs for the 1/2-tons...one for the "NHT" trucks (Which have the Z85 susp.) and one for all the other suspension pkgs.....Z83,Z71,Z60,and Z85 "non" NHT.
